They dumb down the language and don't think they are dumbing down the themes.
And the kids hate it anyway.
Conclusion: Shakespeare by Idiots.
And what's wrong with barriers? They represent challenges. For ADULTS! r young adults.
But not for children. What are they doing trying to teach Shakespeare to children to young to even understand the themes?
They dumb down the language and the kids still hate it because they are way too young to be thinking about ADULT themes!!!!

The ''Themes'' of Shakespeare's plays are not new to him and he stole all of his plots from someone else. If you're not performing it in Early Modern English...then you're not performing Shakespeare.
P.S. - It wasn't 500 years ago. (Shakespeare only died 394 years ago)
I hope you're doing better research before ''teaching'' young minds about Shakespeare. And how do you teach something you admittedly hate?
