@conradhultermans ,hallo conrad, nee geen tab (kost teveel tijd om extra te maken), maar je kunt het zo toch ook wel volgen, , of niet, is een goede oortraining, werk zelf eigenlijk nooit met tabs..hadden ze vroeger in de tijd van de LP ook niet..;)
@conradhultermans ,tja daar kun je wat aan doen, wat spaanse peper tussen de billen..hahaha,,verder is het prima wachten op de drumtracks voor mijn nieuwinstrumentaal cd-tje..worden 12 tracks,64 min..Van de week begin ik met arr voor een zangeres haar project..Plus het album van Chriss Nabaldrian waar ik op speel staat gepland voor 2010, wordt een leuk jaar wat betreft releases voor me..

Just lately I've seen some comments by people who seem to mix up the terminology. As far as I understand a riff is a sequence of notes which is repeated for an extended period. Like in 'Smoke On The Water'. A lick is a sequence of notes, basically a phrase. It may recur at times in the piece but is not repetitive. 5*****
@singularity64 ..:) thanx for enjoying,,to me personaly riff's are more focused on the rythmical aspect of a tune (chords, singleline rythems and licks are more part of lead/melody lines..But what's in the name anyway..The material stay's the same regardless if you call it lick,riff trick etc..most of the time self explanatory
@cataclysmichael ,thanx micheal!!..if your interested there is a lot more on internet regarding explenations on how to subdivide rythems and theory for that..you'll get lucky if google it!!
@cataclysmichael unfortunatly that you don;t live more nearby the Netherlands..i give private lessons at my home, otherwise you could stop by my house to catch a more indepth lesson on this!!
