probably the dumbest tutorial ever. professionals wouldn't bother with layer effects, they would just manually adjust levels, color balance, and curves and not use hues or auto contrast or auto color adjust. also, you could grayscale the original before you make adjustments and combine that adjusted image with the one you made before you grayscaled it using layer effects and opacity adjustments.

Okay, really? Nothing better to show than "the angel effect"? lol. But anyway, I agree with bubbathefelon. It looks a bit like a black/ white picture, and I actually think that black/white pictures looks more professional than the so called angel effect. Then you can just add more contrast afterwords to get a great look for a picture.

Rude. When you use the brighten and contrast option, the effect is similar, but definitely not the same. I use this method when I want a professional result.

I'm unsure as to what you are asking specifically. Paint Shop Pro is quite easy actually, you just have to get a hang of it and it will all work out in the end :)
