  • that's not a gauss gun at all...

  • i dont exactly remember what but u can coil wire around something and make is shoot the speed of a bb gun and maybe a low power pistol

  • Attach this to a rail and have a magnetic feeding system - instant gauss gun

  • Wooooooooow! Can anyone tell me how it works??? Thanks!

  • omfg. thats thats sooo stupid u idiot. wtf

  • Simple physics: for every action there is an equal and oposite reaction but I love it

  • if they made this a real gun, Damn the recoil would be big !

  • fake that's obviously CGI

    haha just kidding that's awesome

  • can i use any other magnets?

  • Maybe... they'd have to be pretty strong though.

  • how abt a electo magnet?

  • I'm not sure how that'd work, but you could give it a shot I suppose. (pun not intended)

  • @thepyroexpert to weak take a harddrive smash it and take out the magnets theree earth magnets very powerful just dont do something stuopid people go to the hospital for clipping earth magnets on there body and then not being able to take them off

  • Comments:

    1. You misspelled the word attach as attatch!

    2. Tape down the magnet..... also use more magnets and steel marbles...

  • Thanks for catching that.... too late now though.

  • wow make sure you dont kill anyone with that thing

  • lmao that was funny

  • @invisiblecomic lol how r u ment to kill some 1 with dat marble

    so weak

  • well....but it can be gun so...it dont have any other purpose

  • so anyone try making a shaft of a series of magnets with, just say, positive side facing you. Putting a negatively charged projuctile in it and letting go, I was thinkin that it would be attracted to the magnets, then as soon as it passed, would be pushed foreward by the negative side and attracted by the next positive magnet in the series, ect. Then would gain a lot more speed? What do yall think?

  • Sounds cool! You'd need a "doughnut magnet to go aroung a tube and a thicker button magnet for the projectile. If the button magnet fit in the tube perfectly, it wouldn't be able to spin around once it passed the 2nd magnet. I think it'd work.

  • say what?

  • i would best compare this with holding any round between ur fingers and bashing it with a hammer

  • lol He left it off cause he knew you were right ;)

  • you left off the 4th definition that I already posted

a gun uses pressure to fire a projectile

the pressure from the magnet is applied to the marble(the projectile)so technically this is a gun

  • thats not a gun

  • gun1 noun, verb, gunned, gun·ning.

    --noun

    4. any device for shooting something under pressure: a paint gun; a staple gun.

  • 1. a weapon consisting of a metal tube, with mechanical attachments, from which projectiles are shot by the force of an explosive; a piece of ordnance.

    2. any portable firearm, as a rifle, shotgun, or revolver.

    3. a long-barreled cannon having a relatively flat trajectory.

  • Also.. The worlds first object that was called a "gun" was not a weapon. it was a household item.

  • Lmfao you dumbass, ever heard of a staple gun? glue gun? WATER GUN? paint GUN?

a GUN doesn't always have to be a weapon.

    Learn your facts.

  • its a "gun" but not a firearm. Elite697, You may be thinking of atf definition which is for "firearm" which uses explosion, so atf has no regulations over gauss guns ect.

  • sweet where do you get a neodyum magnet though?

  • ebay

  • lol ebay

  • take apart an old hard drive. There are two large neodymium magnets that power the head

  • Mc Master Carr Industrial Supply
