Tim killed her by hanging from a noose and Clark found her that way. He was grief stricken and was about to kill Tim but Lois stopped him. I hope that helped

Yeah, you're right. I just never found Lana that appealing as a character. Sure the actress is pretty, but it seems like she always had Clark jumping through hoops and then she would be with some asshole who was never there for her. Then she'd whine to Clark and do it again. I'd have preferred Clark with Alicia, Chloe, Lois or any of the other girls. It seems to me Tom Welling had no chemistry with Kristen Kreuk, but the writers wanted you to think they did. Just my opinion.
