I was about to say reproduction is matter/energy not just information... but the explanation of sound kind of explains that. For the purpose of this language its not important but the info has to be on something physical which will limit how much it can grow (without taking up a lot of room)? Not sure how much use social class color system would have - does it mean like income level or just aristocracy/royalty stuff?

@unassumption -- One major kind of information is NOT on a physical substrate: negative information. The phone call you do NOT make to a loved one, the money you do NOT pay to the IRS, has meaning and consequences. Information is always set up in a larger context.

I have finished a lot of storyboards on anthropology of nonliterate tribes, and I want to do a lot of economic history -- using shades of violet to distinguish classes is necessary in conveying those subject disciplines.

Those might be the only places social class in the original sense is still relevant but they need it for sure, glad to hear you might talk about them. Wouldn't the negative meaning be stored in someone else's brain? Info arrow simplifies things anyway so it doesn't really matter.

Not so sure I agree with your theory that information is not a form of energy, since thoughts are specific patterns of energy. But otherwise, a very very good piece.

The physics definition of information is a restricted one. Biological complexity (information) has grown over evolutionary time, and human records are created and destroyed every day. If information were energy, this would violate the Law of Conservation of Energy.

Try as we might, we never get around the ancient dichotomy of form and substance.

Information is a form of energy.. it is comparable to the digital code that forms the image (through imagination). Human records are traces of energy, like a volcano or tan-lines :()

@Tomorer -- You could also say that energy is a form of information, since energy is very basically this measurement: MASS TIMES LENGTH SQUARED DIVIDED BY TIME SQUARED. As always with info, each one of these requires a pairwise distinction, as follows: Length and time are given by the beginning and the ending of their measurements. I'm curious about how this will develop for models of a deeper complexity... also, surely for reproduction for mammals anyway, the branch off the mother must have a matter/energy arrow (w/ the info' arrow written on it)

However, once again, I imagine that this took quite a while scripting, storyboarding, animating & narrating
