This is the Saturn version. Big Difference than the PS version. "I had this and i used to cringe when my brothers play the ps version in the next room. Damn i love my Saturn but this shit was too far underpar to the ps version. And there was no Announcer.

@SDSOverfiend Because Sega thought the focus would still be on 2D games and under-estimated how popular they would be. Nintendo was scared of copy right issues and stuck with cartages with N64. The mistakes made by those two leaders of console gaming let Sony the newest player to market dominate through 2 console generations.

This takes me back to one of the greatest times of my childhood. Live '95, '96, '97, and '98 were the days when you anticipated NBA Live to drop just as much as (if not more than) Madden.

Thanks for the trip down lane with the halftime show, too. I was 14 when this one came out and I thought the brunette Spurs cheerleader at the beginning (:15) was the hottest chick ever.

I always worked on the rosters...checking the newspaper everyday to get everything perfect. Thanks for posting this!
