That's a 2-handed saber. Halberd's longer, more like a saber-blade mounted on a spear. I don't know I think she was too young to carry it, it's a very heavy weapon afterall.

i find it very difficult to use specific teqnique during sparring it takes much practice to use tequnique in training and even more for fighting/sparring.they were good though.

Depends on which part you are talking about. It also depends on the student. Understand that each student is as good as they practices. If the student practices once a week as necessary when they goes to their class, they will not have the best looking, most powerful or most "eloquent". Also remember that these are not necessarily the winners of the tournament and just some people that were recorded.

Forgorp, I completely agree with you. But I have to agree with Drothgar as well. It seems like the sparring matches were just kind of loose brawls with some pads. The practitioners should be striving to maintain form (i.e. structure, timing and STANCES). These things exist for a reason and are effective tools in a fight if employed using the corresponding theory. These could easily be young students but it seems like proper application is being disregarded, possibly by their instructors.

As a practioner of other art(s) this style is without a doubt one of the most beautiful styles I have ver seen. The White Dragon Schools are the best blend of a successful martial arts businees but while mainting the quality that I have ever seen. USSD made some money, but W.D. is more organized with higher quality overall students. Congrats on both a business end and quality standpoint. It's not an easy blend! BJJ will begin to see just how difficult this is in a few years.
