on the self titled album stef used a 6 for this song and Minerva.. at least thats what i read and how ive always played it.. sounds fucking MEAN on a 7 tho... i think ill start playing it this way..

thanks for that, though if you watch some live footage, youll see chino (six string drop c#) play the intro, and stefs playing a seven (g# standard). i play both the intro and stefs part, thats why the first chord looks all mangled (compensating for the difference in tunings)

yea i just watched a few.. your right.. and thats probably why i could never get it to sound as chunky as the original with just the six..
