Those puppets the girls have are mostly sold in art galleries like the Vancouver art Gallery and Glenbow museum in Calgary but I have seen them in many small bookstores and even some Indigos (I believe). I have seen the ones your girls have but a child I babysit has other non-art ones like Freud and Shakespeare. I've also seen ones like Madame Curie and James Joyce... The big thing in the 2 provinces I've lived in is children who are very cultured.

I love Rothko. Wasn't a big fan when I was their age, but I love his work now. Something about growing up around modern art, I've learned about it and it doesn't confuse me like it used to.

This is precious, though. I'm pretty sure I had that same reaction when I was little.
