Also, do you think switching from free weights to Bowflex weekly is a good way to do muscle confusion?

That's why for upper body i do chest/triceps monday and shoulders, back and biceps thursday. And ballbagbaggins is right you have to do lots of research and get as many answers as you can.
believe it or not there is some good info here (if you are prepared to listen to all the extra talking to find it) unfortunately you already need to know quite a lot about training to get much out of this lol. @sensall100 That's what I'm talking about. I need somebody to direct me to the basics that I need personally, for everybody is unique and need to do things differently. I have the fastest metabolism in the world, which means the only weight I can gain is with muscle. I just need somebody to like create a schedule for me to follow, that will maximize my gains. Also, do you think switching from free weights to Bowflex weekly is a good way to do muscle confusion?

believe it or not there is some good info here (if you are prepared to listen to all the extra talking to find it) unfortunately you already need to know quite a lot about training to get much out of this lol. Best thing to do is watch as many different videos as you can and take the best bits from each as theres a lot of bad advice out there.

@sensall100 isnt it kinda immature to mock someone for wearing a track suit because you think he has a "small physique"? not everyone goes to the gym to get ripped big. some people go to the gym just to be conditioned and fit, not to impress other people. and his knowledge base about the physiology and fundementals of specific exercises may be just as credible as that of someone who has 22" biceps

@SunimZen the fact that he claims to have transformed his body within 12 weeks into perfection is ridiculous, because i find it hard to believe it when he wears a jacket in every video to cover it up. He may know alot about different muscles and how they work, but some of his ideas are wrong e.g. gripping the lat pulldown bar with the palms facing up like a barbell curl is not going to work the lats at all hence why its 'the best way to exercise'

@sensall100 maybe he has transformed it into what is perfection for him. and gripping the lat pulldown bar with palms facing up does work the lats from a different point. every exercise, done with different grips and techniques will work the desired muscle, just at different angle. if the bar is pulled all the way to the hips using palms facing up does work the lats.

@sensall100 i work out every day but I personally would find it undignified to show my body off. the people who criticize his videos are the ones, like I said, who work out for attention and approval from others..to SHOW OFF..like immature children. the ones who spend half their time in the gym admiring themselves in the mirrors. some people consider themselves to be in shape(and their Drs agree) without trying to look like Arnold. posers in the gym make me want to vomit

@sensall100 and my point is if what this guy is doing doesnt make sense for you or work for you why do you try to tear him down? even if you dont agree with him he is trying to better himself. give him credit. maybe making videos on youtube helps him psychologically in a way that isnt visible to you. watch the videos of the people who do what makes sense to you and stop "hating" and tearing someone else down. I am happy to see him in the gym, whether he uses methods i agree with or not
