@lucymmv JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA. Si Mateo Flecha levantara la cabeza... Aunque la frikiperformance nuestra también se las trae, pero bueno, hay que ser leoneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees y comerrrrse el mundoooooooooooooooooooooo.
It is a WRONG TRANSLATION at the begining "Dios guarde al lobo de nuestra cordera" = May God keep the the wolf FROM our sheep (she is NOT a danger for him! it is the oposite!). The good translation is "Dios guardo DEL lobo -God kept FROM the wolf- a nuestra cordera -to our sheep = the Virgin Mary- by a native spanish speaker.
Sounds like they borrowed from Bruce Cockburn - His is the best version I've heard to date, he does it a bit faster. Good guitar playing on this version tho!! Before I got his "Christmas" album I'd never heard it
Not my favorite version. I hate when people attempt to pop'alize a great classic song.

This song is meant to be sung by a quartet, not as a solo, and sounds best a capella. Try listening to The Monkees' great simple version.

This is an old song referring to a story about Jesus and Mary... it's often heard sung in old Spanish with Latin rhythm often sung in Madrigals.

It's not portuguese, it's spanish.

i can understand this song so easy its spanish not portuguese. Portuguese doesnt even sound like that.
Dios guardo el lobo de nuestra cordera is spanish meaning God kept the Wolf from our sheep, which is Spanish.
If it was portuguese it would have eu lobo i think :P
BlitzoftheReich 2 years ago 2
I suppose i'd be "O lobo", because "eu" means "I".

Uhh, it's Spanish. And Portuguese doesn't have any Spanish words. It has Portuguese words, that are similar to Spanish and vice versa.
