Good idea, but who would insure toys? I've never thought of doing that.

Retail, I paid around 2,000 dollars for all the ones in this video. This is part 1 of 5. I also have a ton of 25th anniv. G.I. Joe figures and vehicles. I have only one video so far, but will be uploading more soon.

i did an inventory search in my room, have about 312 robots, so i need to catalogue each one- taking a photo and placing it in a database with an estimated value of each. the task is horrendous, but it will enable you to get an accurate estimate when you inssure them. btw sorry fo r long reply!

I do stop motion with G1 figures. After I finish my G1 project, I might move on to the Movie series figures. Check out my work if you get the chance. Awesome collection again!!!!!

Exactly my thought when they first came out. If I didn't buy them as they were released, I would regret it later, not being able to find them, let alone the price increase.

Lol...I guess I'm making up for my lost childhood. When I was 7, I was always looking at other peoples toys. My family was really poor and we couldn't even afford food, let alone toys. Now that I'm older, we are better of and I have a decent job. I told myself you deserve it. So, I decided to start my collection last year and it has grown to a room packed full of transformers, 25th anniversary G.I. Joe, Spawn, etc.

Same here. I had a good amount of transformers....like 6 of them (mostly mini-cars like bumblebee). One of which I found in a park. The rest I bought within the last 10 years. Pricey pricey pricey.

question why do you keep them in the box? i take them out of the box, but buy two if i really want keep one ''in box'' my logic is so that they keep in good condition. i plan to buy the masterpiece's double. no i dont have this mutch still in the box. i am more of a storyline fan anyway. still i bought alot the other day!

So that the value will stay the same or increase as time passes and like you said to keep them in mint condition. Once you take it out of the box the price of the toy goes down dramatically. I do have doubles, but I can't seem to open them either. Lol.

VERY NICE! That collection is worth a bundle. You don't see many unopened TF collections. If you keep them sealed and wait a long time you can get rich on Ebay.
