the madness of atheistic evolution (macro) has taken hold - the biggest lie to strut around in the halls of academia - no wonder they need billions of years to hide their assumptions.
@jesusufreak,evolution is in your bible.Once upon a time there were snakes that used to have conversations with humans, but now ,alas, they have evolved to no longer have voiceboxes.Or how about talking burning bushes. They no longer scream when on fire.Put down your book of murder and watch Armand Marie leroi on What Darwin never knew, you might learn something, empty head.
Hahaha! "How a fish was once your ancestor." Um - so...I evolved from walleye? Or maybe it was a clownfish! Another question: why are fish still around today if we supposedly evolved from them? XD
@TheFergusoid Naturally awesome, you mean! God is the great author of our lives. He also has some amazing artistic talent. He painted the sky blue, carved the canons, and gave mountains their worth!
how about everyone has the freedom of believing what they want. Evolution is happenining but then again that doesn't mean that there isn't God. Believe what you want.
Here is a better and more logical belief system. During the big bang your god died to create us all/life/universe and so we are all in search of something/someone that is already apart of us.We all hold a piece of the jig saw puzzle and to solve it we must work together thats what built Nasa/space program,Cern,Nuclear power.Ideas that work and empower humans/all life forms we should promote more than beliefs that fails us.
Atleast An Atheist claims can be verified and tested and be proved upon. But your claims have been tested since the beginning of time and still there is NO PROOF!!!! There is not even a word insulting enough to call you people. If your god was real there would be no need for Science and Technology and we wouldn't be having this conversation!! The Egyptians,Babalonians,Greeks and Romans never found him/her and they were closer to your so called "Creation Stories" in fact they made them up.
@THEMON1514 you are so foolish - it isn't even funny. you only have science and technoplogy because God created an orderly world that allows science to be appleid to it. discovering the laws of God dosen't mean you get to 'create it' - There is enough historical evidence to support Christ - sorry to disappoint you.
@whiteliketar Like what? I don't think there is any evidence for Jesus at all. Bible wasn't written until the third century. No body, no documents, no mention by historians, there's just nothing.
You are a funny person. Your god is powerless thats why your mad!!!!! thats why you defend it!! An Atheist is some one who uses their brain they don't use fairy tales to dictate their lifes. They are Rational, logical thats the reason they contribute more to the world than you god defenders.Let the gods defend themselves if they exist because you are doing a poor job. You just incite more violence and hatred in the world with this unproven belief!!
@THEMON1514 atheists shouldn't talk about fairy tales - you chance of the gaps clown. that's right ..chance plus billions of years did it. atheism and insanity should walk hand in hand to the altar of madness.
@whiteliketar LOL. I can't believe you think it's "insane" that, yes, things might happen on their own in an INFINITE amount of time and space. It's literally *inevitable* that patterns would arise with as much room as we see in the known universe, completely logical in every way. There is no reason to believe that an intelligent force was necessary. Possible, just as literally anything is possible if you can imagine it, but existence by itself does not support conscious design.
@Scythemantis - ha ha - atheist babble at its best - the impossible dosen't become the inevitable - no matter how much time your little atheist brain can dream up.
@whiteliketar You completely failed to deal with this last point. If the universe needs a creator, why doesn't God need a creator? If God can exist without a creator, why can't the universe?
@whiteliketar You don't understand probability. The fact that we're sitting here talking about it means that it has occurred. There are millions of planets in the universe where (as far as we can tell) it hasn't occurred. It is not a coincidence that it occurred on our planet. If it didn't occur here, it wouldn't have been our planet. Now go and educate yourself of Bayes' Laws and conditional probability.
@THEMON1514 - ha ha - 'incite more violence ' - as in Hitler, stalin, Pol Pot, Kim Il Jung , communist China , the voices of reason in the French revolution - the atheist world view has shed enough blood to turn the oceans crimson - never mind the the atheist biology professor responsible to a great degree churning out athiest doctors who suction the brains of resting babies in the womb by the millions. Christ is the only hope
Hitler had his own religion, a kind of neo-polytheism. Plenty of Christians have committed atrocities. The crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the witch burnings, Protestants vs Catholics in the British Isles, so much death, torture, war, repression and cruelty due to religion. It is not because of atheism that bad things happen. It is because of human nature.
the madness of atheistic evolution continues unabated ...every kind of micro evolutuion is exploded into macro. If there was ever delusion...then this has got to be it.
@whiteliketar evolution is proven on a daily basis every time a child is conceived. A sperm meets an egg and develops into a human being.Evolution has been proven ,god has not been proven. so based on that what else is there to believe
@whiteliketar Dude, you need to lay off. I am not athiest, but I do not follow a specific religion. However, you have no right to criticize another's belief when yours is just as ignorant. I look at athieism as a way of making sense of the patterns in the world that were set. I know for a fact there are many things that humans will never know or understand. People can believe what they want, because God gave them the right to do so. I may even be wrong. Everyone may be wrong.
@NextTheSquare - geez did you dream up that point of humility wrapped up in the bow-tie of ignorance or did you learn that from the dogma of youtube atheists - all life , all creation , the universe points to a designer - only an insidious devilish worldview would suggest otherwise.
@whiteliketar You mean like a religion that was formed centuries after other ones. Yeah, religion is nothing more than a device people came up with tho control others who fear death. Also, it used as a coping device in death. Here is something, I can't prove that God doesn't exist, but can you prove that anything in the bible existed. Give me some evidence. The thing is, religion is a bane to society. It stunts human creativity, and almost every war started because of it.
@whiteliketar there is absolutely no reason to believe that anything "points to a creator" just by EXISTING....says who? Says us humans, because we can only imagine something existing if a thinking being like us put it there? It's an arbitrary concept, it comes from nowhere. Existence does not imply intelligence no matter how you slice it.
@NextTheSquare - I am not sure what you are - but the only reason that evil triumphs in this world is for good people to say and do nothing. stop pontificating your left wing BS and at least speak up. Christ was the greatest rebel
@whiteliketar You are right about that. I also believe Christ was a real person. I just don't believe most of the bible. I just try to be a good person, like everyone else should.
@whiteliketar There is no such thing as "micro" and "macro" evolution. Evolution is evolution. You think what your human eyeballs can see should be a measure of what evolution can do? Could that BE any more arbitrary and anthrocentric?
@Scythemantis ha ha so says an atheist - macro -evolution is mathematically impossible - it's just the fruitful imagination of the atheist mindset in the biology class. thowing time after the impossible dosen't make it the inevitable as much as as you would like it to be. There is accountability for your sins - no matter how you desperately want that sibgle cell organism to to dictate otherwise. sorry
@whiteliketar LOL. You're hysterical. Mathematically impossible? MICROSCOPIC CHANGES are what change your ENTIRE BODY from birth to death. They're what change a single species of dog into pugs, chihuahuas and golden retrievers. Macroscopic changes are EASIER than microscopic. Why would it be a sin to accept provable facts? Nothing about evolution indicates there is no God or necessitates a rejection of God.
@Scythemantis you are funny - mathematically impossible is true - at least listen to mathematicians on this issue like Dr david Berklinski and he is not even a christian. typing in upper case letters to scream your delusion only expands inflates your own fertile imagiantion on this issue. They are all different kinds of dogs but they remain dogs - blanketing micro changes with the deception of macro-evolution dosen't help your case - it just shows how easily you can be deceived.
@whiteliketar If you studied evolution yourself instead of only studying second-hand arguments against it from isolated crackpots, you would understand why "dogs remain dogs" while other species regularly (sometimes in only decades of observation) split off into distinct non-breeding groups (distinct species) and then take different courses of adaptation. SEPARATING "micro" and "macro" completely invalidates all of your arguments because there is no possible separation.
@whiteliketar Every discovery made in mainstream science is filtered through hundreds of researchers world-wide with very different goals and ideas, which is exactly why you can absolutely trust maisntream scientific consensus. When one isolated weirdo like Berklinski goes against established fact you can tell that they're crying for attention and haven't even submitted their findings to critique or review by their peers. You're falling hook, line and sinker for blatant lies.
@whiteliketar ...and I use caps where I believe you are skim-reading and ignoring inarguable points of truth. There is zero grounds to believe (and zero POSSIBILITY) that evolution science is built on deception, as the majority of scientists have no reason to deceive anyone, wouldn't care, wouldn't benefit from it, and couldn't get away with it in such a diverse scientific community at all.
@whiteliketar There are so many points against your way of thinking, they can't fit into only a few messages, so I'm sorry to deluge you. To elaborate, however: scientists don't have any reason to deliberately defy Christianity like you believe, because evolution is only even PERCEIVED as opposing religion in a tiny fraction of the world. The controversy is largely American in origin.
@whiteliketar There is no reason, for example, why Japanese scientists would lie to push evolution when they live in a country that has never opposed the teaching of evolution to begin with and Christianity is extremely rare. And yet, their findings are the same as American scientists. Scientists who believe in God have no difficulty accepting evolution once they see it for themselves, and those who don't believe in God simply don't perceive religion as a threat for them to "fight"
@whiteliketar Everything the average person believes about evolution (and that includes non-scientists who believe it to be fact) is completely false, but it's especially severe with people like you, who believe utter nonsense like "irreducible complexity" (a made-up unscientific concept that does not exist anywhere in nature) or believe evolution began with Darwin. Heck, even this lame video makes it sound like he was the first.
@whiteliketar All it takes for a "new species" is for a population to be unable to breed with another population, and this happens CONSTANTLY. It can happen well within a human lifetime. Sometimes the two species remain identical on the outside, but if their different habitats change, they will adapt with them like they always did, and since they are separate gene pools they can take on different outer appearances as they adapt.
@whiteliketar Dogs "remain dogs" because while some breeds are unable to produce viable offspring with one another, there is always some other breed that both can reproduce with, linking them as one gene pool. If we humans disappeared and stopped breeding them, most of the different breeds would die off, unfit for wild survival. This would leave isolated and genetically incompatible populations around the world, which is ALL that defines different species. It's that simple.
@whiteliketar ...and what I just described about dogs is what happens in nature constantly. A species can adapt to its environment until it looks nothing like it used to (like pug versus golden retriever) and in the ever-changing and ever-shifting environments of Earth, this cuts populations apart into pockets all the time, which over time genetically drift and adapt differently from one another.
@Scythemantis here we go again - you'll always end up blanketing micro evolution with macro - no matter how we describe the process of Micro-evolution - your fertile imagination will take over at the crucial macro-gap - this is why you end up wating time deluding yourself - There are so many arguments against Macro-evolution - I can't even begin to debate a Macro-nutcracker like yourself - do some reading - listen to mathrematicians on the subject - read people like steve meyer
@whiteliketar Now, if I didn't have more fun things to do today, I could keep going and going, but I'll wait until you're interested in responding before I continue to explain how things are (in other words, your turn) :)
@Scythemantis All you did was regurgitate the misinformation that you were fed - I can tell how brainwashed you already are - we can start with 'species' and have a whole day arguing its definition . in any case thank God that your beloved theory is being exposed by honest biologists who see the lie that you can't . The term brainwashing is thrown around a lot but in your case I can see its residue clearly. No need to argue when Macro is defeated in its nascent state.
@whiteliketar no, all YOU'VE done is regurgitate misinformation you've been fed. I drew the same conclusions from my studies of life as every pther scientist inevitable and invariably does through objective, fair reason. The theory of evolution has no hidden flaws being "finally exposed" - there's just a MARKET for the lies you subscribe to, a cheap and easy alternative for the shameless to take advantage of.
@whiteliketar what I've said about there being no distinction between macro/micro is simple, inarguable fact. There is no possible difference because no part of life works the way you insist it does. You have clearly never studied the natural world for yourself, but cherry-picked whatever other people have told you if it fit with what you *already wanted* to be true. Scientific consensus tells the honest, blunt truth whether it's a truth you enjoy or not.
@whiteliketar When you go looking for evidence to support something you already believe, that's all you're ever going to find. It's easy to shoehorn anything you want to fit your world view, and that's why Creationism is such a joke. Creationists already believe they know the "truth" and just look for ways to support that truth. SCIENCE, on the other hand, makes observations without any predestined expectation and draws independent, original conclusions by observation.
@whiteliketar You probably think that what I just described also applies to evolution, but our knowledge of evolution DOESN'T come from people who went out looking for it. Evolution is simply the *only* thing that all life on earth demonstrates and points to. Anything you study on this planet, no matter what you were really looking for, will show evolutionary progress and all fit together flawlessly, everywhere, all the time :)
@whiteliketar I've given you open, detailed, straightforward descriptions of how evolution functions and how research actually works and you haven't even TRIED to disagree, only said that i'm "brainwashed" - brainwashed by who? Myself? I already told you I do my own independent study. You, however, repeat things invented by loud-mouthed authors just to make money off the gullible.
@Scythemantis not at all - don't confuse how you interpret data with knowledge of the subject. all that you have done and will keep doing as far as i can tell is misread either wilfully or with naivete with that is obiviously micro-evolution and overlaying it with macro-evolution to suit your atheist world-view. Your beloved theory is being deconstructed every day for it's consistent errors. sorry
@whiteliketar you haven't even provided any attempt at a rebuttal of any point I've made because you obviously don't have any, I've told you the truth and you don't have a leg to stand on, or you're just a lazy troll.
@Scythemantis - ha ha - whose fault is it that you only get your data from atheistic interpretation of data - whose fault is it that you don't take into account the biblical flood - I wouldn't accuse anyone of being a lazy troll if i were you. Do you read anything from the other side - the evidence is growing every day that challenges the deception of Macro-evolution . Do you know how ridiculous what you believe equals - given enough time the impossible becomes the inevitable.
@whiteliketar Evolution is not atheistic and scientists are not atheistic. Evolutionary research comes from people of every imaginable faith, political background, culture, age group, nationality and employer as well as independents. The world your kind perceives where science is a unified enemy against religion is an impossible and ridiculous fairy-tale. Yes I do read things from the "other side," and I've yet to see a creationist cite a single piece of real evidence.
@Scythemantis my goodness - 'scientists are not atheistic ' is not an unreasonable statement when it came to the founders of amny universities - unfortunately many sceintists - especially in the biology class are atheists first and scientists second - at least admit that you have filled your mind with so much atheist propaganda that your statements are now trult unreasonable at best.
@whiteliketar Also, I never said I believe that "the impossible becomes the inevitable," only that such a notion is no more or less preposterous than the notion of an intelligent designer. We DON'T, and CAN'T, know how the universe began or how life began, but we can see that life has been evolving since it appeared. There's no question of that at all, it's observable on every level...the proof of evolution grows exponentially and has only ever strengthened more and more.
@Scythemantis I see that your frustration is becoming palpable - what you don't understand is because of your atheist worldview you preach the very point without realising it that given enough time the impossible will become the inevitable. DNA is a creation of a ccommon designer not a common ancestor - what you are observing on 'every level ' is micro evolution that cannot cross species which is a definition that you want to hijack but i wont let you. sorry
@whiteliketar What people like you really need to understand is that scientists WANT to find problems with evolution. Every last one of them WANTS to rock the foundations of the establishment. A scientist who found something incorrect with mainstream consensus would not be shunned by his peers or lose money, he would be a freaking OVERNIGHT CELEBRITY. He would get swamped with attention and funding. Nobody, however, has found flaw with evolution that stands up to testing.
@whiteliketar It's so completely silly how creationists think that science is in on a big conspiracy to "hold back" evidence against evolution when that's 100% the exact opposite of reality. The ones who get the funding are the ones who come up with something new and different, not the ones who adhere to the status quo. Unfortunately, nobody has EVER come forward with legitimate evidence against how evolution is known to function, and yes, even atheists try to - for the fame in it!
@Scythemantis - ha ha there will always be micro-evolution that allow species to adapt and change for survival but not the fanciful macro-type that you could never observe. it's true - no can ever deny micro-evolution - just as the good book says - Kinds - it must really irk you to see cats still make cats . dogs -dogs - birds -birds and humans - humans - only in the fertile imagiantion of the atheist do we have macro-stupidity coming to life in Bio-text books. lol
@whiteliketar You are the one who doesn't get it. It is a coincidence that there are fossils at all. It is wholly unrealistic to think there would be fossils of every single stage of evolution. We have enough fossils to prove that human evolution happens. If there was, as you say, a missing link, that just shows that most of what happened before and after that is fairly well understood and proven.
@whiteliketar Creationists think creation science is being "oppressed" by the majority but the simple truth is that creation scientists have yet to ever propose a single idea that holds up. Their claims can be disproven at only a GLANCE. They argue that the eyeball is "irreducibly complex," for instance, yet we can see examples of animals functioning in nature with eyes at every single level of complexity, back to just light-sensitive nerve endings in the skin!
@Scythemantis - regurgitating atheist propaganda again? what does your point have to do with the massive transformation of macro-madness -life is irreducible complex on a wider scale that you can even comprehend on your limited lnowledge on the subject - do you even know how many genes have to be present all at once you dumb clown for life to exist. do you even know that . you didn't even undestand my earlier point about macro-evolution beinfg defeated in its nascent form.
@whiteliketar Also, I bet you think the fossil strata is caused by the biblical flood...LOL. A world wide flood could NEVER deposit sediments and fossils in that order, nor would it carve out the grand canyon or caverns or any of those other things Young-Earthers claim. If they were formed in a shorter amount of time they would look entirely different, as we can easily test in all manner of conditions.
@whiteliketar Did you know that the notion of Earth being only thousands of years old is a brand new idea? There's no way to "add up" any specific age of Earth in the bible at all. The "young Earth" hypothesis was popularized in only the past century as a tool for making Christians doubt science, and nothing more. It has no spiritual basis and even conflicts with recorded, human history. This planet plainly shows more activity EVERYWHERE than a few thousand years could even fit!
@whiteliketar There are literally so many dead organisms buried in this planet that there wouldn't have even been room for them in 6,000 years, and that's just ONE of the most obvious ways "young earth" theory is impossible, fanciful nonsense. It doesn't have a single shred of evidence to support it, including anything in the bible.
@Scythemantis - who said anything about a young earth? I am open minded-on this one - in any case why would I argue - both sides have good arguments - also you have to become an expert on ALL the dating techniques to fight for or against the issue- a statement like the one you made on dead organisms and not enough room is just tooo stupid to address.
@whiteliketar whether you agree with it or not Young Earth theory is a good example of lows people will go to in order to disagree with established science purely for the sake of disagreeing with it. With the number of extinct species, i'm just pointing out that at a superficial glance the planet shows huge amounts of activity, before you even get into real analysis. Evolution is just like that; it can be deduced through immediate observation, and holds up against in-depth scrutiny
@Scythemantis keep up the wishful thinking - you obiviously have a warped idea of observation and 'immediate' is entering the arena of humour now- perhaps you are tired. give it a break
@whiteliketar I really don't mean to swamp you so annoyingly, but it's just too easy. Every one of your claims is easily shattered by *mountains* of truth, like all claims made by the frail and incompetent creationist agenda...which, by the way, created this whole "battle." Scientists never thought evolution supported atheism. Scientists don't CARE about proving or disproving the supernatural. They care about discovering how physical matter, life and energy behaves.
@Scythemantis it's more amusingthan annoying how folks like you can be so blind. there is no way that an atheist can love science and mathematics more than a christian because we see the signature of God at every level of science. the more we know the less we know. It is as it should be . there is enough science and math in the world to keep me and others busy every day of my life worshipping Him through these mediums. Life is too exciting to waste fighting blindness, sorry
@whiteliketar Are you joking? That is an incredibly patronising attitude. There are so many things wrong with this, it scares me that you go around claiming to be a scientist, you ignorant, bigoted lackwit.
@whiteliketar There's no evidence for the biblical flood. It's just a made-up, clumsy retrofit by people who are trying desperately to find evidence where there is none. None.
@whiteliketar Now, just give me a simple yes or no: does your knowledge of evolution come from books and speakers, or do you actually, personally study life on this planet and the patterns under which it operates? If your beliefs don't draw from experience then your beliefs are worthless and your attempts to argue are a comical joke.
@Scythemantis quit trying to sound informed - who do you think gave us all the disinformation about macro-evolution - laypeople? if you are a biology student - no doubt you would have studied Haeckels embryos - and a host of other wilful mistakes - I hope to God that you are not going to tell me that you are a student of biology or teaching it because you obiviously have a lot of disinformation to share. All you can do is hide behind time. Open that closed mind.
@whiteliketar I hadn't even heard of Haeckel's embryos until Christians brought them up as flawed. I didn't go to public school and am aware that their textbooks on ALL subjects are loaded with misinformation. It's you who has a very closed mind to science and keeps citing "misinformation" that scientists don't actually disagree with you on :)
@whiteliketar that is word for word what I'd have said about you...it saddens me that a single human being on earth is dumb enough to think evolution is false when it's as true as any proven law of reality, and the reasons people have for denying it are made-up nonsense :p ....one day you'll open up and get it.
@Scythemantis your poor brainwashed soul - believing that your ancestor was a fish and before that...what ...a piece of rock ...and before that...what? moon dust? your are so brainwashed ...your atheist friends have done such a job on your naive unquestioning mind. get real...get Christ..right now your mind is locked in a vice. This is indeed the worse thing that can happen to any human being ...is to follow the pied pipers of madness.
@whiteliketar YOUR mind is locked in a vice. Evolution is proven, observed fact, there is no argument, no evidence against it, no hope for you idiots who insist that a scientific reality is a "lie" JUST because a few worthless words in a book suggest that life was created in a few days. You are nothing but a child. Nowhere did I say I was an atheist, evolution IS NOT ATHEIST WHATSOEVER, it is simply a process present in nature, no matter what else you believe.
@whiteliketar I'M "naive and unquestioning?" You think the entire bible is the word of God, just because the humans who wrote the bible said so. Humans who never even met your Christ (the bible was written long after his lifetime) and got virtually everything about the world dead wrong, because they were only humans, not God.
@Scythemantis Your comment is contradictory, my friend. You implied that mere humans wrote the Bible down, yet claimed that they got it wrong because they weren't as great as God! What?
@ajesusfreak1 How is that remotely contradictory? Millions of people believe in God but do not believe he wrote the bible. I'm agnostic, but even I can see that if you DO believe in God, you still have no reason to trust biblical text. The only "evidence" that it's his word is the claim made in the bible itself. That's like trusting any random guy on the street who says that THEY'RE God, which sadly does happen as well. It's cult mentality and nothing more.
@Scythemantis So you are a genetic researcher? AND an evolutionary scientist? AND a geologist? AND an archaeologist? AND a palaeontologist? AND an anthropologist? If not then this applies equally well to you. Once again, you have no point.
@TheFergusoid You don't need to be any of those things to see the obvious difference in credibility between the entire scientific community and a single set of books written centuries ago :)
@whiteliketar I looked up Berlinski. I found this: "true to the creation-science genre, his approach consists of constructing strawmen, then knocking them down with misinterpreted, faulty, or nonexistent data as well as carefully selected quotations from evolutionary scientists" He makes a living telling people like you what you want to hear. He doesn't care about the truth.
In case I need to spell it out (and I'm afraid I might): it's satire.
Elert "aim[s] to show that the same thinking that leads devout fundamentalists to deny evolution as atheism must also lead them to embrace geocentrism and flat-earthism as God-given truths." And does a brilliant job of it.
Fundamentalists can be mighty selective in their reading of the Bible as literal truth.
"Only an atheist would buy the notion that we live on a tiny rock, circling an insignificant star in a galaxy of billions of stars in a universe of billions of galaxies. Why would God place his most holy of all creations in such location?"
- Glenn Elert, "The Scriptural Basis for a Geocentric Cosmology"
ha ha - one of the biggest lies on the planet backed up by nice sounding background music - trying to force macro madness on what is obiously micro variations .
@whiteliketar "macro evolution" is a term invented by creationists, who are unable to deny evolution on the cellular level but refuse to believe that it would lead to entirely new species - even though a living thing is nothing but cells and there is no limit on how far your "micro variations" can go to create changes we can see. Why would there be? All life is made of the same matter, the same genetic code expressing itself in minutely different ways.
@Scythemantis - ha ha atheis babble non-stop - show me one , yes just 1, not 2 or 3 or 4 or 10 just one - where we can see with your beloved billions of years behind it - an obivious "macro-change' in the internal organs or the external - I guess the changes are going to be small and let me guess...you need another 50 millions years. The good Book was bang on when it said' Kinds ' - all you are left with is micro-evolution. quit trying to imagine Macro when it is only micro. clown
@whiteliketar LOL. You keep proving me right with your own blather. You say you believe in "micro evolution" but evolution IS microscopic changes, idiot. The difference between two species IS microscopic: it's their different genetics that define species, not the outside. Something can change on the outside a LOT and still be the same species. "MICRO CHANGES" CREATE NEW DISTINCT SPECIES AND ORDERS ALL THE TIME. By admitting they exist you admit evolution 100%, chuckles.
@whiteliketar Just one, eh? How about gills turning into ears. There's one. "Just one." Or scales becoming feathers. Or fins becoming toes. "Show me just one" Honestly, what is wrong with you?
I've never been able to understand why (some) fundamentalists are so threatened by evolution. Plenty of people find no conflict between their faith and science. Can evolution not be seen to reflect the beauty, subtlety and elegance of God's hand?
But "atheist" is no more a category than "non football fan". There is no conspiracy here. Only the product of empirical reasoning by thousands of our best minds, which, unlike dogma, will always be open to improvement.
@arohanuikeahi The "evolution vs. religion" debate can be traced back to Darwin's rival biologists, who were jealous of his fame for evolution when in fact evolution was a concept many scientists already proposed. People deliberately stirred up public controversy claiming that evolution contradicted the existence of God, a notion mainstream Christians otherwise might not have considered at all.
I would suspect the color changing comes from the cells of the surrounding environment being absorbed into the animal over time. Is there any theory debating this idea or any ideas backing it?
these atheist fools believing their own madness and their dumb youtube crowd following the pied piper dawkins down the road to oblivion. that's where macro-evolution is perched - on the hedge of the highest mountaintop of logic and fact - where creatures still produce after their own KIND. Just take one more step towards the madness of macro-evolution and they are on their way to the ground. Foolls they were and will always remain just like the chortling moron dawkins.
"lol, atheists are MORONS! If you still can't grasp the futility of your ideas, you are CRAP! You have NOTHING ON GOD, lol! I'll take you to the most extreme regions of HELL with my MANIA because I'm completely full of SHIT, and guess what you all believe in DAWKINS because he's your leader, lol!"
Is that ok? Seriously, you are as thin as your theory.
@whiteliketar Macro evolution, which is a scientific term, has been observed. Speciation has been observed many times. This is a fact. Understand macro evolution before you go making claims about it.
@alphaenemy you really are a little brainwashed devil aren't you? give me just 1 not 2 or 4 or 7 just one where we can clearly see proof of the damn internal organs in a state of obivious change or the external organs in a clear state of change - oh you can't! you mean the changes are so tiny that we can't observe it - awwww ...so convenient oh the you need another 150 million years to see something -. quit trying to hijack micro evolution and overlay it with time to sell the biggest lie.
@whiteliketar Evolution DOESN'T PREDICT THAT WE WOULD SEE WHAT YOU ARE ASKING. That's why you're wrong. If we did see that, evolution would have to be rewritten and rethought entirely. We DO have genetics, though, that show a very, very clear lineage, and plenty of fossil evidence, which is what we WOULD expect to see were evolution correct. You're the one trying to hijack science here, and that's apparent to anyone that understands what you seem to think you understand.
@alphaenemy you are so blind and confused you can't seem to comprehend that what you are propagating is that given enough time the impossible becomes the inevitable - you have had you billions of years - i ask you again mr macro lunatic - show me one creature where we can see these changes before our very eyes - surely there has to be one where mathematical exponentials are defied and devastated - you can't come up with one ...can you?fossil thumping clown
@whiteliketar It's funny how you consider the inevitable impossible, but again, evolution doesn't predict that. Suppose I were to ask you why you can't show me evidence of your left hand turning into a rocket cannon. Just as absurd as what you're asking. However, mutations begetting more mutations of COURSE would create an unrecognizable creature OVER TIME. You can sit there and attempt to mock that model forever, but you'll still look like a severe dumbass as long as the model works.
@alphaenemy your delusion is complete - keep that fertile imagination going - still can't produce one example - can you . blind dingbat/ want more time< lol
@whiteliketar Nope, can't honestly come up with an example that would refute macro evolution, like the one you want so badly. I could try forever and fail! Again, if I came up with the example you request, it would turn evolution on its head. That's why nobody's coming up with the example you request, because macro evolution is true!
@alphaenemy - quit making excuses - your beloved theory is for atheists first and science a distant second. where is the empirical evidence - quit hijacking micro-evolution and wishing macro upon it and then your education really starts. Sorry....try again.
@whiteliketar Sorry, 99% of scientists support the same theory. You haven't even given yours. Probably because you're a giant coward. And the empirical evidence is all there, mostly in the fossil and genetic records, as a relatively small number of observed speciation events have actually occurred (of those, none have shown the types of things you'd like to see, only what scientists who understand speciation would expect to see). I'm not trying again, the evidence supports what I say.
@alphaenemy ha ha - the evidence is in the fossil record - since when fossils started having babies - come now ...don't run away ...where is your prized creature in state of change ... where we can clearly see ...here's an idea ...get a horse and a donkey together ...lets see how far the mule gets. lol
@whiteliketar NO, NO, NO, you STUPID, THICK, MORON...ONCE AGAIN, and for the LAST TIME, the prized creature in a state of change is YOUR PRIZE, not evolution's. EVOLUTION SAYS THAT WOULD NOT HAPPEN. You want horse evolution? Science has a very detailed understanding of how the horse evolved, and sterile mules are just a weak, pathetic example provided by the dumbest of creationists. Smarter creationists know better than to present that as an argument.
@alphaenemy - still trying to defend a defenceless position - a simple argument suits you just fine because of your brainwashing - you must feel pretty frustrated to see every creature producing after its own kind ...just as the good book says - even your foremost evolutionist Gould admitted your beloved fossil rescord is the result of a fertile imagination - get a real education and read the BIble and prepare for your final exams - fossil thumping clown . lol
@whiteliketar The fossil record is not imagined by anyone to support evolution. Evolution is a conclusion one can draw FROM the fossil record even with no prior awareness of the theory, because it consistently demonstrates the same progression everywhere we look on the planet. Even the most hardcore Christian who enters paleontology and studies objectively can only conclude evolution because the entirety of the natural world plainly demonstrates evolution.
@Scythemantis - ha ha - atheist babble again - the Biblical flood shoots gaping holes into the atheist pre-supposition when it comes to the fossil record - the earth could be very old or not - God gets the final say on that - the natural world supports micro-evolution - there is no such thing as macro-evolution - the fertile imagination of atheist biology professors in the classroom. Even at the genetic level your beloved theory destroyed - 380 genes for life - all at once for life
@whiteliketar Read the bible eh. Oh, it says here we're supposed to have fringes on the edges of our coats. Are you wearing fringes on your coat? If not why not?
@whiteliketar haha, I was going to pm you a great page that explains the evolution of the modern horse, but I see your page is not available. There's a shock! You don't want information. You don't want an argument. You want converts.
@alphaenemy sorry to frustrate you - I spend a lot of time in atheist camps and are pretty aware of their propaganda. did you also read the biology text books still in circulation with ernst haeckels fake drawings about human embryos - do you still to rush to clap your little hands every time your macro friends at national geographic embraces another fake fossil with their 'experts' claiming 'transitionals' - have you examined Dr Berlinski's mathemtical destruction of your macro-madness?
@whiteliketar There were only a few fakes. A few out of thousands of non fakes. I've not checked out Berlinski's "destruction" of macro-evolution, but I will when I get the chance. I have seen the critics of Berlinski, and don't doubt that I'll see the same straw men in his arguments that I keep seeing in yours.
@alphaenemy - who are you trying to blame for your bias? a few fakes? HA HA - when magical extrapolations are done based on slivers of part of a skull or part of a shoulder bone anmd WALAH! out come the whole transitional based on atheist imagination - there are more fakes than you could ever imagine my poor deluded friend - guess what? the ancestor of the horse was a ........horse. the ancestor of a dog was a .....dog. The good book was always right - Vatiations .yes - different kinds - yes
@whiteliketar If you think that the entire theory of evolution is based on observations of "slivers of a part of a skull" or anything even close to that, I just pity you. Seriously dangerous straw man. Not that I should be surprised.
@alphaenemy you are the one saying that not me - don't blame me for your own biased filters - not the entire theory dummy but a great many important ' breakthrough transitionals' are based on frightening little 'evidence'
the other stuff is just wishful extrapolations on what is obiviously micro variations. you need to flush out that atheist propaganda that has decimated your common sense/
@whiteliketar If only atheists really were following some sort of "propaganda", maybe your shit would have an iota of merit, but atheism has no goal. It's not the authoritarian heirarchical moneymaking power structure that religion is. It's just a response to a claim. Besides the lack of any evidence for your silly, unfalsifiable eternity scheme, or that of some jealous, stratospherian douchebag that controls everything, the obvious power of its human leaders should make you more skeptical.
@alphaenemy ha ha - 'atheism has no goal ' - ath first I thought you might be naive but now you really confirmed it. you need to listen your 'intellectuals' being challenged on every level before you embarass yourself - start with dawkins vs lennox or craig vs hitchens - stop living in your little atheist bubble and be open minded - atheism only serves to lead people into more perversion thereby leading to more anti-depression drugs and suicides, demented porn , homosexuality, mindless murder
@whiteliketar These people aren't my leaders, dummy. They are people that simply don't believe, just as I don't. Great debaters, though. Usually very right, too! Once again, you shit your straw men all over the place. You couldn't even argue without them! Also, atheist societies tend to be more tolerant, peaceful, and lawful. That's just a fact. I'm not saying that atheism makes someone better, but it kills all evidence that Christianity does.
@alphaenemy - you poor brainwashed soul - tell that to Dietrich Bonhoeffer ( a true christian) who stood up to Hitler- tell that to Stalin - your other lovely atheist friend - tell that to Pol Pot - another atheist tolerant peacfeul chap - tell that to KIm Jong IL another lovely atheist - tell that To Idi amin - a sweet atheist man - tell that to the french voices of the french revolution of reason that slaughtered like if it was drinking water - Atheism and evil - go hand in hand.
@whiteliketar Dumb dumb, thank you for examples of one or the other. It proves nothing other than how inept you are at arguing. How about Hitler, the Christian? How about Timothy McVeigh? What about the countless Christian pedophiles? See how pointless your stupid ass comeback was? It was really stupid and pointless because you suck at arguing this stuff. You're just loud and boastful for no reason. Atheism and evil might go hand in hand, but Christianity and stupidity fuck like rabbits.
@alphaenemy ha ha - see how uninformed you are - and it dosen't take much to get the hooligan in you to come out , does it? Mcveigh was a racist and a nationalist, Hitler - a christian - right! and what aspect of Jesus teachings was he following? come now - the RC church allowed your homosexual friends in and they decimated that weak barren church with their pedophilia - that's what happens when you let crazy atheist evolution teachings in your church -
@whiteliketar And Stalin and Amin were also nationalists who killed in the name of their authoritarianism! You see, I only pointed those out to show you how stupid your argument was, and now you're stupidly trying to throw it in my face because you're really stupid. Your conclusions are stupid, your methods for arguing them are even stupider, and yet you still continue to present them as if they had validity or even a semblance of meaning, and with gusto! Passionately stupid!
@alphaenemy - don't try to run away from the truth - It's a well known fact that your friends Hitler, stalin and the lot were atheists in addition to being nationalists and natural killers which is what atheism helps to bring out and justify. Your school-boy comebacks are not at all flattering to your intelligence - every act of murder and mayhem is more naturally related to atheism - who would accuse Christ of encouraging the acts of your beloved atheist friends. step out of the darkness
@whiteliketar Hitler's atheism is only suspect, but it doesn't matter, as the reason for those mass murders was political in nature, as everyone knows. Any authoritarian ideology can expect mass murder to accompany it. Christianity, for example. Crusades? You just can't draw the parallel that you'd like here. Sorry, you just can't. Now, this conversation is too boring to keep up with. Your accusations are so soft and flimsy, I can't feel challenged by this crap anymore. Anything good?
@alphaenemy ha ha - the Crusades was a response to Islamic incursions into europe, you jackass - In instances when Crusaders acted like their savage enemies - I ask you again - wrere they obeying Christ or disobeying Christ? you'll keep fumbling and bumbling as long as I press you for an answer. IN the meantime your atheist doctor friends brainwashed in the biology class with Macro evolution just killed another 100,000 innocent lives in the womb today across the world - Real sweet eh?
@alphaenemy - If that happens - their Christianity can be challenged - since Christ is the light shining in the darkness - No one can claim to kill in the name of Christ wilfully and the approval of Christ upon his sword or gun. However when folks killed in the name of Hiitler or Stalin or pol pot or the voice of reason the french revoilution - did they have the blessings of their source of inspiration - Atheism has decimated your ability to think and argue wisely - step out of the darkness
@whiteliketar No way are you the one who gives out Christ passes, dude. You're not the one who says who can be a true Christian and who can't. Stop being an asshole like that.
@BeBoBli - ha ha - go away because the truth stings? the heart of atheism is confusion and darkness - much like false religions like Islam. Christ remains the light shining in the darkness. deal with it.
- ha ha - go away because the truth stings? the heart of christianity is confusion and darkness - much like any other religion like Islam. Not being a jackass remains the light shining in the darkness. deal with it.
@whiteliketar the heart of Atheism is acceptance and appreciation of life. Religion is nothing but a blind hope for "more"...a spoiled, childish dissatisfaction with what can be seen and felt. By counting on an eternal afterlife and all-loving God, your kind squander life and undervalue the lives of others. I have personally witnessed Christians hurting people because they feel this life is a temporary and unimportant state...that's all God is, a crutch for the selfish.
@whiteliketar Islam believes in the same God you do, but believed it first. Christianity is just a bizarre cult that caught on world-wide, just like scientology today.
@Scythemantis ha ha - atheist stupidity at its best. Islam and chrisitianity are so far apart - you obiviously show your ignorance here - i wouldn't expose your ignorance so willingly on this point. try again
@whiteliketar I think you need to check your facts on that one. Islam and Christianity are very closely related, even share some of the same scripture. Perhaps you should spend some time studying religion before you tell other people how awesome it is.
@whiteliketar Islam is false, because... why? For what reason do you claim that Islam is a false religion, that wouldn't apply equally well to your own religion? Stop saying "darkness" all the time as if it meant you have a point. Think of something to say or stfu!
@whiteliketar There are just as many god-believers who support and conduct abortions, try again. You posted this two months ago but no way are you off the hook for such a stupid, bia
Why is it so hard for some people to believe in Evolution?
You can shit, so can animals, just think of this tiny similarity from other hundreds.

You just incite more violence and hatred in the world with this unproven belief!!
THEMON1514 2 months ago
@THEMON1514 atheists shouldn't talk about fairy tales - you chance of the gaps clown. that's right ..chance plus billions of years did it. atheism and insanity should walk hand in hand to the altar of madness.
whiteliketar 2 months ago
@whiteliketar LOL. I can't believe you think it's "insane" that, yes, things might happen on their own in an INFINITE amount of time and space. It's literally *inevitable* that patterns would arise with as much room as we see in the known universe, completely logical in every way. There is no reason to believe that an intelligent force was necessary. Possible, just as literally anything is possible if you can imagine it, but existence by itself does not support conscious design.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis - ha ha - atheist babble at its best - the impossible dosen't become the inevitable - no matter how much time your little atheist brain can dream up.
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar But that's exactly what YOU believe. You believe an impossible supernatural God existed just because it has to. LOL.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar You completely failed to deal with this last point. If the universe needs a creator, why doesn't God need a creator? If God can exist without a creator, why can't the universe?

TheFergusoid 1 month ago
@whiteliketar You don't understand probability. The fact that we're sitting here talking about it means that it has occurred. There are millions of planets in the universe where (as far as we can tell) it hasn't occurred. It is not a coincidence that it occurred on our planet. If it didn't occur here, it wouldn't have been our planet. Now go and educate yourself of Bayes' Laws and conditional probability.

NextTheSquare 2 months ago
@NextTheSquare - geez did you dream up that point of humility wrapped up in the bow-tie of ignorance or did you learn that from the dogma of youtube atheists - all life , all creation , the universe points to a designer - only an insidious devilish worldview would suggest otherwise.
whiteliketar 2 months ago
@whiteliketar You mean like a religion that was formed centuries after other ones. Yeah, religion is nothing more than a device people came up with tho control others who fear death. Also, it used as a coping device in death. Here is something, I can't prove that God doesn't exist, but can you prove that anything in the bible existed. Give me some evidence. The thing is, religion is a bane to society. It stunts human creativity, and almost every war started because of it.
NextTheSquare 2 months ago
@whiteliketar there is absolutely no reason to believe that anything "points to a creator" just by EXISTING....says who? Says us humans, because we can only imagine something existing if a thinking being like us put it there? It's an arbitrary concept, it comes from nowhere. Existence does not imply intelligence no matter how you slice it.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@NextTheSquare - I am not sure what you are - but the only reason that evil triumphs in this world is for good people to say and do nothing. stop pontificating your left wing BS and at least speak up. Christ was the greatest rebel
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar You are right about that. I also believe Christ was a real person. I just don't believe most of the bible. I just try to be a good person, like everyone else should.
NextTheSquare 1 month ago
@whiteliketar There is no such thing as "micro" and "macro" evolution. Evolution is evolution. You think what your human eyeballs can see should be a measure of what evolution can do? Could that BE any more arbitrary and anthrocentric?
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis ha ha so says an atheist - macro -evolution is mathematically impossible - it's just the fruitful imagination of the atheist mindset in the biology class. thowing time after the impossible dosen't make it the inevitable as much as as you would like it to be. There is accountability for your sins - no matter how you desperately want that sibgle cell organism to to dictate otherwise. sorry
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar LOL. You're hysterical. Mathematically impossible? MICROSCOPIC CHANGES are what change your ENTIRE BODY from birth to death. They're what change a single species of dog into pugs, chihuahuas and golden retrievers. Macroscopic changes are EASIER than microscopic. Why would it be a sin to accept provable facts? Nothing about evolution indicates there is no God or necessitates a rejection of God.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis you are funny - mathematically impossible is true - at least listen to mathematicians on this issue like Dr david Berklinski and he is not even a christian. typing in upper case letters to scream your delusion only expands inflates your own fertile imagiantion on this issue. They are all different kinds of dogs but they remain dogs - blanketing micro changes with the deception of macro-evolution dosen't help your case - it just shows how easily you can be deceived.
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar If you studied evolution yourself instead of only studying second-hand arguments against it from isolated crackpots, you would understand why "dogs remain dogs" while other species regularly (sometimes in only decades of observation) split off into distinct non-breeding groups (distinct species) and then take different courses of adaptation. SEPARATING "micro" and "macro" completely invalidates all of your arguments because there is no possible separation.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Every discovery made in mainstream science is filtered through hundreds of researchers world-wide with very different goals and ideas, which is exactly why you can absolutely trust maisntream scientific consensus. When one isolated weirdo like Berklinski goes against established fact you can tell that they're crying for attention and haven't even submitted their findings to critique or review by their peers. You're falling hook, line and sinker for blatant lies.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar ...and I use caps where I believe you are skim-reading and ignoring inarguable points of truth. There is zero grounds to believe (and zero POSSIBILITY) that evolution science is built on deception, as the majority of scientists have no reason to deceive anyone, wouldn't care, wouldn't benefit from it, and couldn't get away with it in such a diverse scientific community at all.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar There are so many points against your way of thinking, they can't fit into only a few messages, so I'm sorry to deluge you. To elaborate, however: scientists don't have any reason to deliberately defy Christianity like you believe, because evolution is only even PERCEIVED as opposing religion in a tiny fraction of the world. The controversy is largely American in origin.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar There is no reason, for example, why Japanese scientists would lie to push evolution when they live in a country that has never opposed the teaching of evolution to begin with and Christianity is extremely rare. And yet, their findings are the same as American scientists. Scientists who believe in God have no difficulty accepting evolution once they see it for themselves, and those who don't believe in God simply don't perceive religion as a threat for them to "fight"
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Everything the average person believes about evolution (and that includes non-scientists who believe it to be fact) is completely false, but it's especially severe with people like you, who believe utter nonsense like "irreducible complexity" (a made-up unscientific concept that does not exist anywhere in nature) or believe evolution began with Darwin. Heck, even this lame video makes it sound like he was the first.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar All it takes for a "new species" is for a population to be unable to breed with another population, and this happens CONSTANTLY. It can happen well within a human lifetime. Sometimes the two species remain identical on the outside, but if their different habitats change, they will adapt with them like they always did, and since they are separate gene pools they can take on different outer appearances as they adapt.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Dogs "remain dogs" because while some breeds are unable to produce viable offspring with one another, there is always some other breed that both can reproduce with, linking them as one gene pool. If we humans disappeared and stopped breeding them, most of the different breeds would die off, unfit for wild survival. This would leave isolated and genetically incompatible populations around the world, which is ALL that defines different species. It's that simple.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar ...and what I just described about dogs is what happens in nature constantly. A species can adapt to its environment until it looks nothing like it used to (like pug versus golden retriever) and in the ever-changing and ever-shifting environments of Earth, this cuts populations apart into pockets all the time, which over time genetically drift and adapt differently from one another.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis here we go again - you'll always end up blanketing micro evolution with macro - no matter how we describe the process of Micro-evolution - your fertile imagination will take over at the crucial macro-gap - this is why you end up wating time deluding yourself - There are so many arguments against Macro-evolution - I can't even begin to debate a Macro-nutcracker like yourself - do some reading - listen to mathrematicians on the subject - read people like steve meyer
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Now, if I didn't have more fun things to do today, I could keep going and going, but I'll wait until you're interested in responding before I continue to explain how things are (in other words, your turn) :)
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis All you did was regurgitate the misinformation that you were fed - I can tell how brainwashed you already are - we can start with 'species' and have a whole day arguing its definition . in any case thank God that your beloved theory is being exposed by honest biologists who see the lie that you can't . The term brainwashing is thrown around a lot but in your case I can see its residue clearly. No need to argue when Macro is defeated in its nascent state.
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar no, all YOU'VE done is regurgitate misinformation you've been fed. I drew the same conclusions from my studies of life as every pther scientist inevitable and invariably does through objective, fair reason. The theory of evolution has no hidden flaws being "finally exposed" - there's just a MARKET for the lies you subscribe to, a cheap and easy alternative for the shameless to take advantage of.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar what I've said about there being no distinction between macro/micro is simple, inarguable fact. There is no possible difference because no part of life works the way you insist it does. You have clearly never studied the natural world for yourself, but cherry-picked whatever other people have told you if it fit with what you *already wanted* to be true. Scientific consensus tells the honest, blunt truth whether it's a truth you enjoy or not.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar When you go looking for evidence to support something you already believe, that's all you're ever going to find. It's easy to shoehorn anything you want to fit your world view, and that's why Creationism is such a joke. Creationists already believe they know the "truth" and just look for ways to support that truth. SCIENCE, on the other hand, makes observations without any predestined expectation and draws independent, original conclusions by observation.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar You probably think that what I just described also applies to evolution, but our knowledge of evolution DOESN'T come from people who went out looking for it. Evolution is simply the *only* thing that all life on earth demonstrates and points to. Anything you study on this planet, no matter what you were really looking for, will show evolutionary progress and all fit together flawlessly, everywhere, all the time :)
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis my God - you are really brainwashed - carry on with your delusion mr chance of the gaps clown.

Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis not at all - don't confuse how you interpret data with knowledge of the subject. all that you have done and will keep doing as far as i can tell is misread either wilfully or with naivete with that is obiviously micro-evolution and overlaying it with macro-evolution to suit your atheist world-view. Your beloved theory is being deconstructed every day for it's consistent errors. sorry
whiteliketar 1 month ago

Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis - ha ha - whose fault is it that you only get your data from atheistic interpretation of data - whose fault is it that you don't take into account the biblical flood - I wouldn't accuse anyone of being a lazy troll if i were you.

Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis my goodness - 'scientists are not atheistic ' is not an unreasonable statement when it came to the founders of amny universities - unfortunately many sceintists - especially in the biology class are atheists first and scientists second - at least admit that you have filled your mind with so much atheist propaganda that your statements are now trult unreasonable at best.
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Also, I never said I believe that "the impossible becomes the inevitable," only that such a notion is no more or less preposterous than the notion of an intelligent designer. We DON'T, and CAN'T, know how the universe began or how life began, but we can see that life has been evolving since it appeared. There's no question of that at all, it's observable on every level...the proof of evolution grows exponentially and has only ever strengthened more and more.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis I see that your frustration is becoming palpable - what you don't understand is because of your atheist worldview you preach the very point without realising it that given enough time the impossible will become the inevitable. DNA is a creation of a ccommon designer not a common ancestor - what you are observing on 'every level ' is micro evolution that cannot cross species which is a definition that you want to hijack but i wont let you. sorry
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar What people like you really need to understand is that scientists WANT to find problems with evolution. Every last one of them WANTS to rock the foundations of the establishment. A scientist who found something incorrect with mainstream consensus would not be shunned by his peers or lose money, he would be a freaking OVERNIGHT CELEBRITY. He would get swamped with attention and funding. Nobody, however, has found flaw with evolution that stands up to testing.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar It's so completely silly how creationists think that science is in on a big conspiracy to "hold back" evidence against evolution when that's 100% the exact opposite of reality. The ones who get the funding are the ones who come up with something new and different, not the ones who adhere to the status quo. Unfortunately, nobody has EVER come forward with legitimate evidence against how evolution is known to function, and yes, even atheists try to - for the fame in it!
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis - ha ha there will always be micro-evolution that allow species to adapt and change for survival but not the fanciful macro-type that you could never observe. it's true - no can ever deny micro-evolution - just as the good book says - Kinds - it must really irk you to see cats still make cats . dogs -dogs - birds -birds and humans - humans - only in the fertile imagiantion of the atheist do we have macro-stupidity coming to life in Bio-text books. lol
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar You are not getting it. Macro evolution takes macro time. That's why we can't observe it. Duh.
TheFergusoid 1 month ago
@TheFergusoid - you still don't get it - pity. still can't find that one ' transitional ' - can we? lol
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar You are the one who doesn't get it. It is a coincidence that there are fossils at all. It is wholly unrealistic to think there would be fossils of every single stage of evolution. We have enough fossils to prove that human evolution happens. If there was, as you say, a missing link, that just shows that most of what happened before and after that is fairly well understood and proven.
TheFergusoid 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Creationists think creation science is being "oppressed" by the majority but the simple truth is that creation scientists have yet to ever propose a single idea that holds up. Their claims can be disproven at only a GLANCE. They argue that the eyeball is "irreducibly complex," for instance, yet we can see examples of animals functioning in nature with eyes at every single level of complexity, back to just light-sensitive nerve endings in the skin!
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis - regurgitating atheist propaganda again? what does your point have to do with the massive transformation of macro-madness -life is irreducible complex on a wider scale that you can even comprehend on your limited lnowledge on the subject - do you even know how many genes have to be present all at once you dumb clown for life to exist. do you even know that . you didn't even undestand my earlier point about macro-evolution beinfg defeated in its nascent form.
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Also, I bet you think the fossil strata is caused by the biblical flood...LOL. A world wide flood could NEVER deposit sediments and fossils in that order, nor would it carve out the grand canyon or caverns or any of those other things Young-Earthers claim. If they were formed in a shorter amount of time they would look entirely different, as we can easily test in all manner of conditions.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Did you know that the notion of Earth being only thousands of years old is a brand new idea? There's no way to "add up" any specific age of Earth in the bible at all. The "young Earth" hypothesis was popularized in only the past century as a tool for making Christians doubt science, and nothing more. It has no spiritual basis and even conflicts with recorded, human history. This planet plainly shows more activity EVERYWHERE than a few thousand years could even fit!
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar There are literally so many dead organisms buried in this planet that there wouldn't have even been room for them in 6,000 years, and that's just ONE of the most obvious ways "young earth" theory is impossible, fanciful nonsense. It doesn't have a single shred of evidence to support it, including anything in the bible.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis - who said anything about a young earth? I am open minded-on this one - in any case why would I argue - both sides have good arguments - also you have to become an expert on ALL the dating techniques to fight for or against the issue- a statement like the one you made on dead organisms and not enough room is just tooo stupid to address.
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar whether you agree with it or not Young Earth theory is a good example of lows people will go to in order to disagree with established science purely for the sake of disagreeing with it. With the number of extinct species, i'm just pointing out that at a superficial glance the planet shows huge amounts of activity, before you even get into real analysis. Evolution is just like that; it can be deduced through immediate observation, and holds up against in-depth scrutiny
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis keep up the wishful thinking - you obiviously have a warped idea of observation and 'immediate' is entering the arena of humour now- perhaps you are tired. give it a break
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar "Too stupid to address," you say? I call bull**** on that one. You just don't have an answer.
TheFergusoid 1 month ago
@whiteliketar I really don't mean to swamp you so annoyingly, but it's just too easy. Every one of your claims is easily shattered by *mountains* of truth, like all claims made by the frail and incompetent creationist agenda...which, by the way, created this whole "battle." Scientists never thought evolution supported atheism. Scientists don't CARE about proving or disproving the supernatural. They care about discovering how physical matter, life and energy behaves.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis it's more amusingthan annoying how folks like you can be so blind. there is no way that an atheist can love science and mathematics more than a christian because we see the signature of God at every level of science. the more we know the less we know. It is as it should be . there is enough science and math in the world to keep me and others busy every day of my life worshipping Him through these mediums. Life is too exciting to waste fighting blindness, sorry
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Are you joking? That is an incredibly patronising attitude. There are so many things wrong with this, it scares me that you go around claiming to be a scientist, you ignorant, bigoted lackwit.
TheFergusoid 1 month ago
@whiteliketar There's no evidence for the biblical flood. It's just a made-up, clumsy retrofit by people who are trying desperately to find evidence where there is none. None.
TheFergusoid 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Now, just give me a simple yes or no: does your knowledge of evolution come from books and speakers, or do you actually, personally study life on this planet and the patterns under which it operates? If your beliefs don't draw from experience then your beliefs are worthless and your attempts to argue are a comical joke.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis quit trying to sound informed - who do you think gave us all the disinformation about macro-evolution - laypeople? if you are a biology student - no doubt you would have studied Haeckels embryos - and a host of other wilful mistakes - I hope to God that you are not going to tell me that you are a student of biology or teaching it because you obiviously have a lot of disinformation to share. All you can do is hide behind time. Open that closed mind.
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar I hadn't even heard of Haeckel's embryos until Christians brought them up as flawed. I didn't go to public school and am aware that their textbooks on ALL subjects are loaded with misinformation. It's you who has a very closed mind to science and keeps citing "misinformation" that scientists don't actually disagree with you on :)
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis WOW! the only emotion left for you is pity. hope you see the light one day. .
whiteliketar 4 weeks ago
@whiteliketar that is word for word what I'd have said about you...it saddens me that a single human being on earth is dumb enough to think evolution is false when it's as true as any proven law of reality, and the reasons people have for denying it are made-up nonsense :p ....one day you'll open up and get it.
Scythemantis 3 weeks ago
@Scythemantis your poor brainwashed soul - believing that your ancestor was a fish and before that...what ...a piece of rock ...and before that...what? moon dust? your are so brainwashed ...your atheist friends have done such a job on your naive unquestioning mind. get real...get Christ..right now your mind is locked in a vice. This is indeed the worse thing that can happen to any human being ...is to follow the pied pipers of madness.
whiteliketar 3 weeks ago
@whiteliketar YOUR mind is locked in a vice. Evolution is proven, observed fact, there is no argument, no evidence against it, no hope for you idiots who insist that a scientific reality is a "lie" JUST because a few worthless words in a book suggest that life was created in a few days. You are nothing but a child. Nowhere did I say I was an atheist, evolution IS NOT ATHEIST WHATSOEVER, it is simply a process present in nature, no matter what else you believe.
Scythemantis 3 weeks ago
@whiteliketar I'M "naive and unquestioning?" You think the entire bible is the word of God, just because the humans who wrote the bible said so. Humans who never even met your Christ (the bible was written long after his lifetime) and got virtually everything about the world dead wrong, because they were only humans, not God.
Scythemantis 3 weeks ago
@Scythemantis Your comment is contradictory, my friend. You implied that mere humans wrote the Bible down, yet claimed that they got it wrong because they weren't as great as God! What?
ajesusfreak1 2 weeks ago
@ajesusfreak1 How is that remotely contradictory? Millions of people believe in God but do not believe he wrote the bible. I'm agnostic, but even I can see that if you DO believe in God, you still have no reason to trust biblical text. The only "evidence" that it's his word is the claim made in the bible itself. That's like trusting any random guy on the street who says that THEY'RE God, which sadly does happen as well. It's cult mentality and nothing more.
Scythemantis 2 weeks ago
@Scythemantis So you are a genetic researcher? AND an evolutionary scientist? AND a geologist? AND an archaeologist? AND a palaeontologist? AND an anthropologist? If not then this applies equally well to you. Once again, you have no point.
TheFergusoid 1 month ago
@TheFergusoid You don't need to be any of those things to see the obvious difference in credibility between the entire scientific community and a single set of books written centuries ago :)
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar I looked up Berlinski. I found this: "true to the creation-science genre, his approach consists of constructing strawmen, then knocking them down with misinterpreted, faulty, or nonexistent data as well as carefully selected quotations from evolutionary scientists" He makes a living telling people like you what you want to hear. He doesn't care about the truth.
TheFergusoid 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Mathematically impossible? Now you're just making stuff up!
TheFergusoid 1 month ago
In case I need to spell it out (and I'm afraid I might): it's satire.
Elert "aim[s] to show that the same thinking that leads devout fundamentalists to deny evolution as atheism must also lead them to embrace geocentrism and flat-earthism as God-given truths." And does a brilliant job of it.
Fundamentalists can be mighty selective in their reading of the Bible as literal truth.

"Only an atheist would buy the notion that we live on a tiny rock, circling an insignificant star in a galaxy of billions of stars in a universe of billions of galaxies. Why would God place his most holy of all creations in such location?"

arohanuikeahi 4 months ago
ha ha - one of the biggest lies on the planet backed up by nice sounding background music - trying to force macro madness on what is obiously micro variations .
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar "macro evolution" is a term invented by creationists, who are unable to deny evolution on the cellular level but refuse to believe that it would lead to entirely new species - even though a living thing is nothing but cells and there is no limit on how far your "micro variations" can go to create changes we can see. Why would there be? All life is made of the same matter, the same genetic code expressing itself in minutely different ways.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis - ha ha atheis babble non-stop - show me one , yes just 1, not 2 or 3 or 4 or 10 just one - where we can see with your beloved billions of years behind it - an obivious "macro-change' in the internal organs or the external - I guess the changes are going to be small and let me guess...you need another 50 millions years. The good Book was bang on when it said' Kinds ' - all you are left with is micro-evolution. quit trying to imagine Macro when it is only micro. clown
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar LOL.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@whiteliketar Just one, eh? How about gills turning into ears. There's one. "Just one." Or scales becoming feathers. Or fins becoming toes. "Show me just one" Honestly, what is wrong with you?
TheFergusoid 1 month ago
I've never been able to understand why (some) fundamentalists are so threatened by evolution. Plenty of people find no conflict between their faith and science. Can evolution not be seen to reflect the beauty, subtlety and elegance of God's hand?
But "atheist" is no more a category than "non football fan". There is no conspiracy here. Only the product of empirical reasoning by thousands of our best minds, which, unlike dogma, will always be open to improvement.
arohanuikeahi 4 months ago
@arohanuikeahi The "evolution vs. religion" debate can be traced back to Darwin's rival biologists, who were jealous of his fame for evolution when in fact evolution was a concept many scientists already proposed. People deliberately stirred up public controversy claiming that evolution contradicted the existence of God, a notion mainstream Christians otherwise might not have considered at all.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
I would suspect the color changing comes from the cells of the surrounding environment being absorbed into the animal over time. Is there any theory debating this idea or any ideas backing it?

Is that ok? Seriously, you are as thin as your theory.
alphaenemy 6 months ago
@whiteliketar Macro evolution, which is a scientific term, has been observed. Speciation has been observed many times. This is a fact. Understand macro evolution before you go making claims about it.
alphaenemy 4 months ago
@alphaenemy you really are a little brainwashed devil aren't you? give me just 1 not 2 or 4 or 7 just one where we can clearly see proof of the damn internal organs in a state of obivious change or the external organs in a clear state of change - oh you can't! you mean the changes are so tiny that we can't observe it - awwww ...so convenient oh the you need another 150 million years to see something -. quit trying to hijack micro evolution and overlay it with time to sell the biggest lie.
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar Evolution DOESN'T PREDICT THAT WE WOULD SEE WHAT YOU ARE ASKING. That's why you're wrong. If we did see that, evolution would have to be rewritten and rethought entirely. We DO have genetics, though, that show a very, very clear lineage, and plenty of fossil evidence, which is what we WOULD expect to see were evolution correct. You're the one trying to hijack science here, and that's apparent to anyone that understands what you seem to think you understand.
alphaenemy 4 months ago
@alphaenemy you are so blind and confused you can't seem to comprehend that what you are propagating is that given enough time the impossible becomes the inevitable - you have had you billions of years - i ask you again mr macro lunatic - show me one creature where we can see these changes before our very eyes - surely there has to be one where mathematical exponentials are defied and devastated - you can't come up with one ...can you?fossil thumping clown
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar It's funny how you consider the inevitable impossible, but again, evolution doesn't predict that. Suppose I were to ask you why you can't show me evidence of your left hand turning into a rocket cannon. Just as absurd as what you're asking. However, mutations begetting more mutations of COURSE would create an unrecognizable creature OVER TIME. You can sit there and attempt to mock that model forever, but you'll still look like a severe dumbass as long as the model works.
alphaenemy 4 months ago
@alphaenemy your delusion is complete - keep that fertile imagination going - still can't produce one example - can you . blind dingbat/ want more time< lol
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar Nope, can't honestly come up with an example that would refute macro evolution, like the one you want so badly. I could try forever and fail! Again, if I came up with the example you request, it would turn evolution on its head. That's why nobody's coming up with the example you request, because macro evolution is true!
alphaenemy 4 months ago
@alphaenemy - quit making excuses - your beloved theory is for atheists first and science a distant second. where is the empirical evidence - quit hijacking micro-evolution and wishing macro upon it and then your education really starts. Sorry....try again.
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar Sorry, 99% of scientists support the same theory. You haven't even given yours. Probably because you're a giant coward. And the empirical evidence is all there, mostly in the fossil and genetic records, as a relatively small number of observed speciation events have actually occurred (of those, none have shown the types of things you'd like to see, only what scientists who understand speciation would expect to see). I'm not trying again, the evidence supports what I say.
alphaenemy 4 months ago
@alphaenemy ha ha - the evidence is in the fossil record - since when fossils started having babies - come now ...don't run away ...where is your prized creature in state of change ... where we can clearly see ...here's an idea ...get a horse and a donkey together ...lets see how far the mule gets. lol
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar NO, NO, NO, you STUPID, THICK, MORON...ONCE AGAIN, and for the LAST TIME, the prized creature in a state of change is YOUR PRIZE, not evolution's. EVOLUTION SAYS THAT WOULD NOT HAPPEN. You want horse evolution? Science has a very detailed understanding of how the horse evolved, and sterile mules are just a weak, pathetic example provided by the dumbest of creationists. Smarter creationists know better than to present that as an argument.
alphaenemy 4 months ago
@alphaenemy - still trying to defend a defenceless position - a simple argument suits you just fine because of your brainwashing - you must feel pretty frustrated to see every creature producing after its own kind ...just as the good book says - even your foremost evolutionist Gould admitted your beloved fossil rescord is the result of a fertile imagination - get a real education and read the BIble and prepare for your final exams - fossil thumping clown . lol
whiteliketar 4 months ago
@whiteliketar The fossil record is not imagined by anyone to support evolution. Evolution is a conclusion one can draw FROM the fossil record even with no prior awareness of the theory, because it consistently demonstrates the same progression everywhere we look on the planet. Even the most hardcore Christian who enters paleontology and studies objectively can only conclude evolution because the entirety of the natural world plainly demonstrates evolution.
Scythemantis 1 month ago
@Scythemantis - ha ha - atheist babble again - the Biblical flood shoots gaping holes into the atheist pre-supposition when it comes to the fossil record - the earth could be very old or not - God gets the final say on that - the natural world supports micro-evolution - there is no such thing as macro-evolution - the fertile imagination of atheist biology professors in the classroom. Even at the genetic level your beloved theory destroyed - 380 genes for life - all at once for life

@whiteliketar If only atheists really were following some sort of "propaganda", maybe your shit would have an iota of merit, but atheism has no goal. By counting on an eternal afterlife and all-loving God, your kind squander life and undervalue the lives of others.
