We had to watch this at school but I amglad we did because it is great! I love the ending! :D There shouldn't be wars about religion or racism. People should be more equal.
WOW! What a taught film. I wouldn't refer to this as short as I felt it was pretty large in scope, theme, and tension. Well made and like real acting... no dialouge. The title suggest something sinister to come but amongst the faces we see at first. This reminded me of a Hitchcock film well paced and everyone is suspect.

To represent this diversity it showed a jew, a moslem and a group of skin heads.They have different thoughts and values, because of this they have violents acts, and this demonstrate their incomprehension. The short-film is so interesting because it shows a culture shock. I like that, because two rivals stay together at the end, they have the same rival and this caused them to join and help each other. Their body expression help to us know about their culture.
The short film does not have dialogue and message was conveyed through facial expression, signs and symbols (of what each group represents). It is a story about a Jew and a Muslim, who has a racial division, and what brought them together.
The nazis are very cruel even with many differences the Jew and the Muslim managed to unite!

This is great lots of good acting without saying much so hard to capture. Loved how it spoke without saying hardly anything. Like the skinheads theme music as well it created a mood for sure.
I think it's weird how people begin life as little innocent kids capable of achieving things. And then as they mature, their decisions can turn them into best friends or monsters. Just a thought.

Its not very inspirational. The two passengers dont do anything but run. They dont stand up for themselves but rather run and let the skinheads go on their merry way to the next stop or stops. In fact if i were the Muslim i would be ticked off at the Jewish passenger: he was going to leave him alone with the skinheads. Its only that his cell phone went off that he found himself stuck in this situation. The only thing they agreed to do was run together. Not inspirational. disappointing.
@porterseanc Why does it have to be inspirational? Yes they run and yes the Jew may have left the other to his fate, so? The clip is interesting to watch in and of itself and doesn't need a happy ending to tell the viewer what to make of it.
@Jessekein It doesnt have to be inspirational. i never said it has to have a happy or unhappy ending. the fact is that this filmmaker told a story open to interpretation. A viewer commented with his/her opinion on how it appeared inspirational with the two different people helping one another out. I dont see it as inspirational. its a well told story that shows a group of bullies, one character having no balls and the other not letting it bother him. The End.

@MrMetalogist i hear what you see, but i dont see it that way. the beginning doesnt just show how cold they are at one another- it shows the Jewish fella's ego is a bit too big. It's one thing to wear the star of david or another religious symbol but was it necessary to show it off to the other gentleman? it looked a bit of obnoxious. we have a guy who likes to flaunt himself but at the end of the day he is a coward much like the skinheads.
@porterseanc Yes but the phone rang which is the inciting moment of the story. There is no what if, that's the story they wanted to tell. The middle eastern man was exposed by the newspaper and the Jewish man by the phone. And with a common enemy they ran together with each others bags, only to return them at the stop.

Great job. Solid meaning behind it. I just felt your musical choice for when they were running out of the train was a bit off.

@porterseanc yeah u r rite on that 1. The director leaves it to the viewers to interpret for themselves about the movie. I am a muslim and it angers me to see the jewish man wudhv run away had the fone didnot go off. But what if it was the other way around? Wouldnt the muslim guy left the jewish guy with the skinheads if he had the chance? I guess the movie is a wee bit inspirational in a sense that it teaches us to stick together and you would find urself out of trouble, be it cowardly or not

This is great lots of good acting without saying much so hard to capture. Loved how it spoke without saying hardly anything. Like the skinheads theme music as well it created a mood for sure.

@GimpHunterrr Nope.. There are a Jew and a Palestinian. When the Neo-Nazis looked the black colour of the skin of the Palestinian they went to kill him. But then played a Jew Hymn, or Anthem on Jew's cell, so they understood that he's a Jew. (And you know the story about Jews and Nazis I think :p)

Its not very inspirational. The two passengers dont do anything but run. They dont stand up for themselves but rather run and let the skinheads go on their merry way to the next stop or stops. In fact if i were the Muslim i would be ticked off at the Jewish passenger: he was going to leave him alone with the skinheads. Its only that his cell phone went off that he found himself stuck in this situation. The only thing they agreed to do was run together. Not inspirational. disappointing.

@porterseanc Why does it have to be inspirational? Yes they run and yes the Jew may have left the other to his fate, so? The clip is interesting to watch in and of itself and doesn't need a happy ending to tell the viewer what to make of it.

@Jessekein It doesnt have to be inspirational. i never said it has to have a happy or unhappy ending. the fact is that this filmmaker told a story open to interpretation. A viewer commented with his/her opinion on how it appeared inspirational with the two different people helping one another out. I dont see it as inspirational. its a well told story that shows a group of bullies, one character having no balls and the other not letting it bother him. The End.

@porterseanc well m8 the point was that at the beginning they were cold to each other.. just because of the different religions they both have... don't think of them as best friends just because there not christian.. the point was that at the end they had to join forces to get away.. cant fight 4 skinheads... and after that they respected each other .. after they realized you shouldn't look down on other believes :) great short film idd <3

@MrMetalogist i hear what you see, but i dont see it that way. the beginning doesnt just show how cold they are at one another- it shows the Jewish fella's ego is a bit too big. It's one thing to wear the star of david or another religious symbol but was it necessary to show it off to the other gentleman? it looked a bit of obnoxious. we have a guy who likes to flaunt himself but at the end of the day he is a coward much like the skinheads.

@porterseanc Yes but the phone rang which is the inciting moment of the story. There is no what if, that's the story they wanted to tell. The middle eastern man was exposed by the newspaper and the Jewish man by the phone. And with a common enemy they ran together with each others bags, only to return them at the stop.
