Ms Davidson, get over yourself! You may have been the first female president of a press club, but by watching this, I can understand why you are also the former president. What did you hope to achieve with these questions? You may have taken umbrage with his pronunciation of names, but I'm sure that if you were to say the name of his home town, you would say it wrong.
Mr Adams was speaking passionately about science and conservation, not about his books.
@verticalsmurf Holy crap, I just thought she was some generic woman, asking a stupid off topic question to make herself interesting. President of the Press Club? More than one people must have found that in itself to be an insult, apart from her embarrassing behavior in public.
she wasn't being a snob. she was trying to match the level of his wit, rather unsuccessfully. she was trying to be funny. I'm an aussie and i know woman like her, they try to be amusing and people think they're being rather odd.
His face is pretty funny at 1:14, because of how much he must have to put up with that question. It would be funny to compile a collection of essays that show all the different ways he has responded to this question. You know, like meandering essays that are funny but actually have some sort of lesson behind them, like he is able to do. Also, I don't get her follow up.
Uh, that woman made me cringe. Boring, snobby and possessive. This show is about science and conservation, dear, not you.

Pythagoras had a similar notion, he concluded that the basic number of the universe was 7.

That was painful to watch. My cringed reflex was stretched to the limit and I had to turn the volume right down.
