I saw Wayland Holyfield talk about this song and after it became a hit he and some friends were coming back from New Orleans and were caught in one of those LA thundstorms. They decided to pull over at a bar and wait out the storm. The boys headed to the pool table and the girls went to the bar to get some drinks.
