Personnaly, I think Ridley is awesome, owns all, etc. BUT i am not a huge fan of his music. i think for a Ridley theme, it should be more terrifying and really evil like. maybe not the best description but w/e. I think ill write a completely new Ridley theme....eventually. prly within the month, but it prly won't get on youtube for some time. o well, like i said ill *eventually* get to it.

It's okay if you don't like his theme and you can say it's not terrifying but don't go and write a new song, claiming that it's a better theme. That's just plain annoying and a real good way to make a lot of Ridley fans hate you.

also, it's not that i don't like the music (which i do), it's just that Ridley's theme seems to be more like escape music (like in super metroid at the beginning) than boss music. That's what i think anyway.

Ridley doesn't get enough attention in Nintendo. I mean c'mon, Zero Suit Samus as the only new char. in Brawl?! Lame....atleast hes a boss, and gets his original music remixed.

The fact that he appears as TWO bosses in the game isn't enough for you? What Nintendo did for him was perfectly right. Ridley's far too huge to fit as playable in Brawl, really. And it would be impossible to give someone like him ground controls.

He can have ground controls, they could just decrease his size, in the cutscene where he first apears, he is taller than bowser, but not that much(assuming is bowser stands up as straight as possible). My main annoyance is the fact that SSB has no other metroid characters than samus, and that goes for F-Zero as well.

Ah. I agree they need more characters representing them (Guroh would be badass, I'm glad he was in as an AT).

But I just can't see Ridley do it. Scaling him down doesn't really have the same effect as with Bowser, whom we've already been Go-karting with among god knows how many other party games.

Greatest boss battle I've ever played (probably because it took me so long to figure out how to actually hurt him). It remains the only moment in video games that left me in physical pain (aside from Guitar Hero/Rock Band).
