Trade Amar'e for a solid backcourt + a solid starting PF. Maybe trade with the Rockets. Amar'e for Scola, Kyle Lowry and a solid bench player like Johnny Flinn. The Rockets have already shown interest in an all-star forward (Pau Gasol) in the CP3 to Lakers trade that almost was.

Dwight Howard is a beast under the paint, quite more so than Amare or Tyson, but to trade both of them for Dwight is like trading away Felton, Gallo, W.Chandler for Carmelo. It's just too much. I'll understand giving up either Amare or Tyson for Dwight + other players, but not both... if they have to give up both, they should get a third team involved and get a "driving to the paint" point guard with Dwight, then it'd make sense. Melo's slump is temporary, nothing to worry about :)
