Cable on the outside looks much better and it does not move around in the wind. I think it's time some of you looked at aerialsandtv.co.uk which should teach you how to do the job properly.
Every aerial installer has his own way of doing the job, all the comments on here read negative because they know about the mistakes THEY have made over the years. At the end of the day the customer was happy with the job and the installer got paid. A good job at the end of the day and a good attempt at advertising
This bracket is not galvanised it's clearly a painted bracket that will start to rust in 4 weeks, as to the numptey saying run the cable down the middle of the mast how would you fit the aerial on a 10ft mast with a 52 element in windy conditions how would you hold it and fit the v bolts at the same time. I've been installing aerials for 30years and this is the way most professionals do it put your hand in your pocket and buy some tape and stop cutting corners.

lashing wire on j bolts is Wrong not the way of the CAI Confederation of Aerial Industries or by RDI-LB Registered Digital Installer - Licensing Body
I have work in the aerial industry for 23 years
your work looks ok as for the clips it on the back of the chimney and out of sight .
