No brother, I lived in Pakistan for few years and I also lived in India too. The Pakistani always talked about Bangalis with respect and love and regret but my experience in India was very different. you can interpret the Holy Crusades as defensive, but if you want to look at it that way, you can say Muslim attacks are defensive in the perception that they are defending against a foreign invasion.

The Holy Crusades (I hope I am not getting this mixed up) was to defend Jerusalem and the Holy Land, but even that is complex, because many religions claim that area as their holy land as well. Good point though.

And Muslims aren't the only ones with different sects in their doctrine. Christianity has hundreds of different sects that are bitter towards each other.

The vast majority of Muslims want to live, work, raise their families and live in peace.

The same as any other ordinary decent human beings.

In all societies there are evil people.

Writing off all Muslims because of a minority of extremists is infantile, counterproductive and stupid.

The extremists are the common enemy of all good people regardless of creed, nationality, race or any other subjective box you want to pigeon hole them.
