You know Match Game was & still is the Greatest Game Show on Television and yess I miss it a lot and I also miss Gene Rayburn , because he was the King of all Game Show Hosts and I really admired him alot . I LOVE GENE RAYBURN & The Match Game is My Number 1 . Thanks GSN !!!

Yikes. Match Game better not return again. It's returned nearly half a dozen times and they have never been able to recapture that magic.

The "remakes" (like all remakes) fail because those creating them fail to see what made the originals so good. Many people didn't watch it for the GAME, they watched it for the PEOPLE. And as Brett Somers said years later, there are some personalities and some talents that will never come again.

Comedians have been replaced by performers who have everything fed to them line by line. Actors don't act anymore because of special effects, sound dubbing, and fancy editting. The magic is gone.

Hope Ricki Lake does a good job with "Match Game" on "Gameshow Marathon" on CBS.Who knows?Maybe "Match Game" would return and return big like in the glory days of the 70's!
