Xenogears No Upgrade - Shevat Generator Battles

Ok so last night I tried this battle for the first time in like 8 years. I got past generator 3 for the first time ever. I had Renmazuo equipped with two silver Ar's and something else and I forget what Billy had but basically the gel attacks were nullified and the sonic booms kept missing. Today I tried again(last night I made some stupid mistakes fighting avalanche) and citadel keeps using sonic booms which all hit! What could I have equipped that would make his sonic attacks miss?

The only thing I know of that would block a sonic attack is a Noise Filter. AFAIK the only one in the game is the one dropped by Avalanche at Generator #4

used gameshark!!!tell by it cuz u maxed out all the stuff

There's just one problem with your claim: nothing is maxed out at all.

the one i try it is with the gear effect maxed out to 9999

and the hp locks on it so it wont fall

Oh, also, Ive heard its possible to beat Alpha Weltall doing this challenge, dont know if youve done this but cant find a video of it, but I bet a lot of people would love to see that

Run a search for "Xenogears Crazy Challenge Part 2", Alpha Weltall defeated in a No Upgrade game with only two gears ;)

Yeah, nice job doing this one, Ive been wanting to try this challenge for awhile...

Those White Knights do hit you occassionally even with +75 response, dont they?

Yeah they do, you basically just have to reset until they don't hit you. It only took like 3 or 4 tries though.
