William Lane Craig: the Kalam Cosmological Argument

I like how DR Craigs entire cosmological argument for the existence of God was just smashed by the LHC. Now neutrinos move faster than light the early Universe comes from particles that are infinite. I knew this was going to happen I knew the LHC was going to turn physics on it's head and I knew DR Craigs Philsophy was going to look even more shit.

@SuperSharko First of all, what caused these neutrinos to come into existance? Second, I thought it was claimed that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light? So how can these neutrinos perform such a feat?

@CptLabs19 If neutrinos can travel faster than light this means Einsteins theory was the flawed one "not entirely but in part"  I think all physicist knew that there is a fundamental flaw in our understanding of physics we didn't know where but that's why we built the LHC. particles moving faster than light doesn't only dismiss DR Craig's philosophy but also goes along more with my personal naturalistic beliefs on existence before the BB.

@CptLabs19 I do believe thanks to the LHC thanks to Science and experiment, humans will be able to understand what our Universe was like before the BB or what banged. There is no need for a God in this kind of Universe all the reasons DR Craig listed which make a intelligent deity necessary are now and always were dismissible.

Faster than light implies eternal, the substance of matter was and always will be, it is absurd to imply intelligence with that knowledge

@SuperSharko I really don't understand how exactly we can claim that science and experimentation in modern times can explain a phenomena that was unobserved. We don't have any data describing the 'BB'. So, what exactly are the results we are looking for? Life?

We can actually observe the BB with telescopes and through the electromagnetic background radation

The Universe changed at a point understand the Universe, understand why it changed. Matter is not intelligent it doesn't require a intelligent cause.

I have always believed that the building blocks of matter transcends the BB on quantum level I believe most physicist agree with me. We could not find the link between relativity and quantum mechanics, if these findings are correct I have further evidence for my speculations where as DR Craig's speculation is based on even further flawed premises

All I am saying is this is a extremely interesting finding in regards to how the Universe started as a naturalist I want to understand how the natural universe works. I have never believed the Universe "started from nothing" it always existed. We test our ideas and let reality dictate the truth

This is another interesting question I was debating a Christian back in 2009 he asked me the same question I told him Craig Venters work is going to create synthetic life out of basic molecules I thought he was years away from this "so did DR Venter" but low and behold we have created synthetic life one year later! As for DR Craigs philsophies back in 2009 I argued before the LHC even fired up that it is going expose his bad logic to the public.

@SuperSharko Also, I did look into the neutrinos. I found out that even the scientists who discovered this don't even know what it means. So, you're just speculating. They don't know if it is even possible. The scientists are still checking the equipment for errors.

If infact there findings are true it means that these particular particles are not bound by the laws of the standard model. neutrinos are one of the most important particles in the early development of our Universe.

If the findings are indeed correct this is one of the biggest moments in human history. IT APPEARS WE BROKE THE SPEED OF LIGHT!

Now. 4 questions:

What do we know about causes that are not within space, time or the observable universe?

Is WLC talking about natural or Agent causation?

What needs to be present as a framework for a creative act to occur?

When did you "begin to exist"?

Because some complex being, in an act of will, built into 'his' creation time, & cause & effect as part of the matrix of our universe/reality, there is no sound logical position that in any conclusive way precludes this being itself from being subject to causation. An explanation for the existence of this complex being should still be required. Thus, the problem of the 'infinite regression' stands.

Craig is simply doing the lawyer thing of defending a guilty defendant. He's good at it (he's a lawyer!) but it's still transparent.
