Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier General, Major General, Lt General and General 4 stars. Like I said, all soldiers start out at the bottom and work their way up. Oh, and when he was in ROTC while in college, he graduated top of his class.

Dude, do yourself a favor. Google US Army and scroll to the bottom of the page where they show all of the rankings. And when you see them, look at the part where it shows commissioned officers. It begins with Second Lieutenant and goes up to general. Once you do that, count all the ranks. There are ten. And there lie your answers. Oh, and he also won 12 military awards. That said I've seen more interviews on this and part of Cheney's strong arm tactics included straight lying to senior members of congress and the senate. Many people have spoken out on this, arguably to cover their own ass.
Thing is until there is a full independent investigation we won't know any of that. That's why there needs to be an inquiry as soon as possible. If some dems are guilty too so be it.

This is a great interview but I disagree with the colonel's cynical side of his view on torture. People say that it will be so complicated and hard to hold the people who authorized torture accountable, but there is really no skill involved here just will. Mark my words people, if we take these fuckers to trial then the case will make itself. Torture is against the law, so for the attorneys, judges, etc involved, their job will be done for them. All we really need is a truth commission to start
