That wasn0't normal missles... they are Super Missiles

yeah I know you may never see this

but in case you don't know, you can actually get super missiles before kraid. on the path from brinstar to norfair, if you shinespark as a morph ball through the left door, you can get a pack of super missiles, which allows you to get a good set of the other super missiles.

I cheated to get an infinite amount of them, but that's because I was a lazy fuck and didn't like hunting down ammo.
