  • That's true, he was grazy! And he is still. But u have to be who u are, It's nature. One of the gratest, hands down...

  • oh man. he was already crazy intense

  • skinny as hell

  • the original lebron james

  • i don't understand how can someone grow to be around 7 foot, tallest people that i come across are hitting the 2meters mark meaning 6'7"-6'8" and that is awfully tall..

unless you live in the Netherlands then u will see a lot of those LOL

  • the one time in his life where KG had hair

  • @PS3owns3601 his rookie year in Minn

  • 1:15 ha. ghetto af

  • he could out jump everyone, its not fair!!!!

  • he look like boosie

  • He looks like Manute Bol out there.

  • looks like Manute Bol haha

  • crazy how kg wasnt even the star on that farragut team...i remember being a lil kid and hearing about kg and fields they were local celebs...crazy how time passes by so fast here we are with kg in his 30's getting ready to retire in a few seasons

  • this guy is skinny

  • I Love KG

  • lol 10 feet fuckin noob

  • man if your want to see someone dominate whatch Amare sTOUDIMIRE

  • Wow, I never imagined KG going to school.

  • what the hell is up wit this muziq?

  • yes kevin, anything is possible when u get 3 rly good players and a solid supporting cast on the same team.

  • this is a great mix man congrats!!

  • damn he reminds me of marlon wayans hella bad haha

  • his team mate with the number 23 is Ronnie "air"Fields, one of the best players to ever played this game!

  • rim is only nine feet

  • Young KG looks like a mix of Big L and A.O. from And 1

  • young KG looks like Big L

  • It's weird how he's playing against all these scarwny little HS players and adjusts to playing full grown men his size and bigger..

  • a YOUNG AND PRIME K.G would destroy the current heat

  • @EltonMarkHuerta thats so funny

  • @89tinkerbutt im not joking

  • @EltonMarkHuerta oh i could swear you were. yeah cause KG could handle lebron bosh and wade all at the same time

  • @89tinkerbutt the heats big 3 rarely have a jumpshots, so he would just wait in the post

  • @EltonMarkHuerta so your saying in his prime, he could jump higher than lebron and wade. well at least i hope he can jump higher than tyson chandler....

  • @89tinkerbutt K.G in his prime is scary, so players around him would be scared to attack the rim and Tyson Chandler and K.G are both 7 foot

  • @EltonMarkHuerta im just saying that i hope he could jump higher than chandler. CAUSE HE GOT SWATTED BY WADE YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lebron and wade in there prime is even scarier

  • @89tinkerbutt K.G>Tyson Chandler, Offence and Defence, Im sure K.G is smarter than Chandler.I never saw Chandler do a pump fake

  • yeah id say your right about that

  • @89tinkerbutt and Tyson Chanler dunked on LeBron(Taller and Jumps higher than Wade)

  • @EltonMarkHuerta lebron didn't get dunked on. He double pumped cause he was scared that lebron was gonna block him. he dunked and lebron was right there. if it would of been a poster dunk i would give him props but it wasn't...

  • @89tinkerbutt if you tried to block a dunk......its clearly a Poster

  • @EltonMarkHuerta not necessarily. chandler was scared of getting blocked so he double pumped. if he wouldnt of double pumped then it woulda been poster

  • his form is way different from now!!

  • The 1 dislike is Channing Frye

  • wow... he even had great footwork in high school!!!!

  • so thats how farragut gym looked bak then wow its way diff from now farraguts the shit

  • For Garnet to be so intense, this music is the exact opposite lol

  • lol he still goaltends after the whistle and is like super intense

  • KG no rings in Minnesota had to rely on Paul P. & Ray Allen weak ass - T. Duncan owns this whack ass B*TCH-!

  • KG no rings in Minnesota had to rely on Paul P. & Ray Allen weak ass - T. Duncan owns this whack ass B*TCH-!

  • I watched Garnett in HIghschool. I live in STL and his school would routinely play the best city school in STL. Also note, he wasn't the best player on his team. Ronnie fields was. Ronnie got injured the summer before he was supposed to go pro.

  • @blaaket123 You do realize KG was the rated the #1 high school player in the country. So whoever that Ronnie Fields was KG was far better than him

  • @Airman32292 Ratings don't mean anything. Do you know how many players are rated highly and don' succeed? In this case KG round up being a great player. History, KG was kicked out of his orignal school and came to Farragut. He was part of Ronnie Fields team.

  • @blaaket123 really they dont mean anything? Yeah they dont guarantee the person for stardom, but a pretty fair number of #1 rated high school players have been studs. FYI he wasnt kicked out he left, but back to the point considering he was the first person who made the jump from high school to pros in 20 years dont try to tell me that Ronnie was better. KG was the national hs player of the year, mr. bball for illinois, and mvp of the mcds all-american game.

  • @blaaket123 The numbers and accolades speak for themselves. KG is far better than Ronnie

  • love watching beast nba players in highschool. They completely dominated.

  • that dunk where he flies through the air sideways at 1:43 and 1:52 should be the garnett logo

  • KG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • :56 the white boy's shot was so weak . lol

  • He was a man amongst boyz plain and simple

  • dont even look like KG now...

  • Everybody always talks about his passion like it's some kind of excuse for him being an asshole. I'm not saying he's not a passionate player, because he is, but a lot of it is him just being an asshole too.

  • @radio213 he's not being an asshole by dunking on everybody ur retarted. you obviously know nothing about basketball because passion IS dunking on everybodys head. we live in america where if somebody sucks, you let them know they suck because when somebody is better than you, they will let you know. This is KG all the way so u need to learn something about basketball and life in general or shut the hell up

  • @bigzforthree HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ^^^this man right here is a scholar folks.

  • same demeanor in high school as in the nba

  • Do you see that passion for the game? Since highschool

  • Wtf he looks so different o.O

  • wow, he even shows so much passion in HS. This guy should be in the top 5 of the most passionate players in NBA history

  • @juiceis7777777 It's the main theme from Enemy of the State (the 1998 movie starring Will Smith). It's composed by Trevor Rabin and Harry Gregson-Williams.

  • hes 6'10, of course he makes dunking look easy....

  • holy crap he was a monster in high school

  • wow he plays with the same amount of passion then as he does now

  • That rim could not have been 9 foot! If that was true then Garnett would have bumped his head!

  • Thats my school, mauldin woot woot

  • this is my guy here!!! im gonna miss em when he hang them up in a year or 2!

  • i miss him at minnesota...my wolves will probly never win a championship

  • It's too bad Fields broke his neck though after high school...ended up stuck in the CBA and never made the league...sad

  • Man Garnett wasn't even the best player on his h.s. team. I remember watching him and Fields play and think man Ronnie is the man. Either way they couldn't win state...lost to a team that had former 49ers receiver Tai Streets on it and ended up taking 3rd or something. Great tournament though that year!

  • 2:30

    Look like soulja boy cousin.

  • My favorite dunk 1:43 to 1:44

  • What kind of shoes are those at 0:01?

  • he was already annoying back then

  • Back in 94 they used to play on those small ass hoops at 1:14.

  • he is so tall indeed

  • CJ Leslie looks eerily similar, except shorter at 6'7".

  • Good mix.. brings back to when he was a timberwolf... scary when he was beating he teammate brains in

  • @tenderfordestruction kg or tim duncan

  • thats all are 9 feet rims and KG is 6 feet

  • @hermanhung its a 10 foot rim

  • @hermanhung kg is probably 6'6" or 6'7" in thiese highlights. he skipped college for the pros. get a life or get a brain pick one.

  • most intense player in the history of basketball

  • wow! idol.

  • he is one of the best power forward

  • His dunk at 1:23 was soo dirty lls.!

  • okay how many dumbshits can there be, anywhere u play organized basketball from middle school up, the hoops are 10 feet, yes 10 i know thts suprising, but real basketball is played on 10 foot hoop, thank you

  • He looks so young here. Now he's like grandfather time!!!

  • how tall was he in high school ?

  • beast

  • @rockster316 No one plays real basketball on 9 feet rims. It's 10 feet any high school gym you go to.

  • @garnetttribute Thank you, what the hell is that guy talkin about

  • @rockster316

i think you guys just underestimate really how BIG a 6'9 guy is

  • @rockster316 heck if my high school rim was 9 feet I would be dunking no problem

  • @rockster316 ya garnett got so good playing on a 9 foot rim, that makes sense. lol

  • What's the height for HS rims?

  • @adrek09 10 Feet, same height as everywhere basketball is played.

  • @garnetttribute not true, my school has 6 ft tall hoops, then again we cant even afford a janitor so that might have something to do with it XD

  • @garnetttribute dam do this even watch basketball, there stupid

  • why do the draft scouting reports always make the weakness "Too skinny" ?

Almost every 7 foot PF And in some cases centers , are skinny when they enter the league. KG was as skinny as they come but he bulked up, Dirk bulked up, bosh....etc

The only PF in the draft that does not need to bulk up or lose weight is Larry Sanders.

  • oh man i fucking love the way he plays, reminds me of my 2m tall friend, it was hell hard to get around him

  • garnett looks so weird with hair lol. so used to seeing him bald

  • at 0:24 the man in wit da b balls in his hand is like can i have that ball ok thx i guess ur usin it

  • @makizzle927 lmao

  • I can't believe that Ronnie fields in Garnett's team during his high school years actually was better than him.. to bad Ronnie didn't make it to the NBA becuase if they had teamed up there they would be vicious..

  • @strikername He wasn't better than Garnett when they were playing together. He did put up crazy-ass numbers his senior year when he was a one man team that were better than what Garnett put up the year before but that's not a fair comparison. Garnett had to share the ball with Fields after all.

  • real right KG

  • my teacher played against him in high school

  • @coolereo80

that's true hahaha. just thought he dunks so hard that its possible

  • KG graduated the same year I did (not same school) and I'm sad that his career is almost over...makes me feel old.

  • surprise he never broke any of those rims lol

  • @chris23duke

    Well he was pretty light.

  • sick video

  • south carolina stand up!!!...to da chi

  • 0:47 he is still doing that move after dunk

  • whats the guys name in 23?

  • Ronnie Fields, a spectacular leaper/dunker.

  • damn... i go to mauldin...

  • dats whats up ..dats where he from..im from orangeburg ..dis shit crazy dat he make it outta sc..

  • considering his bg.and where he was raised,he turned into huge basketball phenom.i go to mhs.and his jersey is everywhere.its a shame he had to move outta mauldin bc of the criminal dispute

  • Nah he for ever goin to be for the boston celtics yall didnt do shitt for him

  • i played on that court!

  • Hay KG you my nig.. awrsomw vid.. saw you play in Madison Garden at the last pree season game in NY in Oct it was a blessing for me... go get the G

  • i live in mauldin

  • he was born to play ball!

  • by far the best player in the league right now celtics gon win this year easily i cant wait to see him and rasheed dickslap kobe and see lebron cryin after the game on the 27th

  • i wouldnt go as far as to say hes the best player in the league, but deffinetely the best center in the league right now, but then again thats just my opinion.

  • Garnett is not a center. He is a power forward and has been his whole career.

  • @scollinbball he was a center in high school

  • @scollinbball when he was at his sickest he what like a 2 on the perimeter though. complete game, traded a little athletism when you compare him to modern players like dwight howard for a real understanding of the fundamentals of the game. his play in his mvp season was legendary. i dont think ive ever seen a player id prefer in the power forward spot.

  • what is this piece of music called?

  • those pink uniforms at the beginning of this video. what high school men's basketball team would want pink uniforms???

  • Those Mauldin Mavericks uniforms are actually orange. (They look pinkish here because of a video color tint)

Think Tennessee Volunteers or Texas Longhorns.

  • dude thats orange

  • @opatlion your right, nobody would wear pink unifroms, thats ORANGE bro,i go to mauldin, dont be hatin on our orange

  • @opatlion those are red you fucking idiot.

  • HEY I GRADUATED FROM FARRAGUT

  • thats what I call talent!!!!

  • sweet

  • being a minnesota native makes me wanna cry when I watch this video, we got some of the dumbest GMs in the US no matter what the sport is

  • damm hes too good the east everybdy in the nba got lucky dat he got njured

  • Ha i go to mauldin go mavs

  • just unbelievable, it was when he was probably 19 years old. really envious of his talent. still his diehard fan. from China now study in UK

  • man just look at him virtually unstoppable but then again hes unstoppable in the NBA too

  • :226 lol

  • dude, wats the son's name?

  • Not in high school yet. Check out Shavar Newkirk.

  • KG a beast..future H.O.F...grew up playin at the same hoop he use too...springfield park MAuldin SC 864..

  • he was soooo skinny in high skool but he still a beast

  • haha look at the cheap ass hoop he dunks on in 1:14

  • surprised it aint break

  • @mattinbc007 dude,it was the 90's

  • Just wondering the song?

  • It's the "Main Theme" from the Enemy of the State score.

  • omg what the hell is that cumn ub behind kg at 2.27

  • beast!

  • im a sophmore at mauldin! kg is a boss

  • he's still beastin from minnesota to boston...Great mix!

  • well done bro

  • loyal subscriber here.. always great stuff bro.

  • Who would have known that this guy would develope the biggest ego in the NBA. Still one of my favourite players though.

  • An ego? If you mean ego in terms of being confident that he's an elite player and does everything in his ability to work hard and achieve/maintain excellence, then yes.

But if you mean ego as in him believing he's bigger than the team or above his teammates -- or bigger than the game -- then that's totally inaccurate.
