@TheDirtbikeboy4life problobly so because the 450f has an auto decompression cam so it wont be as hard , my 2002 yz250f has a manual decompression lever and its a bitch if you dont know how to use it

I am 12 and i ride a ttr 230 and a yz 450f. im 5"7 and there both amazing bikes. i race motocross and harescrambles. my 230 is souped up to a custom 76 tooth sprocket 15 drive sprocket, FMF powercore 4 and racng fule. it runs amazing. 230 and 450 are good bikes. and my friend has a kx 85 and i love it to!

Most 2 strokers never rode a 450F and they keep on the hate'n and talking. I rode several 2 strokes including 500's.....not a practical bike unless you want to go blasting dunes. They can be a load of fun though.

I have just bought a 2002 model of this, picked it up on trailor today and I'm not strong enough to use the kick start as it doesn't have a electric start... The man after 10 kicks started it up but i can't... is there anything i can do to make it start up easier? or is it just strengh to kick...

@pairadice49 the only difference between a two stroke and a four stroke is two strokes are extremely expensive to replace you can only ride them for about a half hour befor your out of gas and well thats about it but four strokes i find i can go for about a 12 hour ride and still have some gas left over not to mention the intense power they produce and they are a dime a dozen to replace im not saying i dont like either thats just an easier way then bitching and sounding like a little baby

I have an 05 CRF250 and have not had ONE problem, no rebuilds, nothing has broken, and I ride it like I ride the rest of my stuff..aggressively. You may have gotten a lemon or just did something really stupid to it you don't know about and are blaming it on Honda.

to JARFLY101, you have to but stupid as shit if you think ur 450 is beating a 500 unless you have a big bore kit on it and stroked out, i have a yz450f with everythin u can do to it except bigbore kit and stroked, my 450 can touch my 500. 86 ktm 500mx in mint condition!!! we spent all day switching up and the 500 never lost unless it was rider error!!! if the 450's are faster than the 500's why do they race them in the 250 class and not the 500 class u fucking moron!!!!!!

@ryanmahoo 2 strokes explode twice the rate of 4pokes since they dont have a "dead" stroke like the 4pokes do 2 strokes are therefore technically trying twice as hard to push the wheel without having to lose power to the weight of all the cam and valves and shit. If i were rich as hell i would get a 2 stroke, but with my experience i just go through too many top ends and no i dont wind it out burning my tires off like some on utube,i just like having four times as long b4rebuilds on my new 450

@ryanmahoo ok put bubba on a 500 and take his time on the track than put him on a 450 and take his time on the track again, his time will be better on the 450 cuz its pretty much impossible to get the power to the ground on the 500 .and btw horsepower is nothing with out torque, thats what the 500 lacks. but let me say this so i dont get flamed the 500's are good bikes and in a straight line they are brutally fast iv been on one thay will scare the shit out of you.

dude my 97 and 03 kx250 can hang whit a 08 yz450f and yes i did ride a 450 befor i rode a rmz450 and a yz450f so kx 500 would bet a 450, 450s make like 55-60 and a kx500 70-80 and u dont no a thing about dirt bikes
