And yeah they were blowin themselves out so its like, I mean...without an obvious change of sound and song you can't tell. In fact you can actually see VSU come in when ASU starts playin. Man there's no way that VSU can take out ASU, Of course if you have a group of tubas all playing above the staff stacked right beside each other there are going to sound louder. The Silver Bullets are the best! And I'll be there in the fall of 2008!
First of All, if you understood the element of SOUND you would know that ASU is much better than VSU. The alignmnet of ASU tubas took their SOUND almost around the corner because of their SIZE. First of all, if it's on the horn why not play it? Second of all, I don't recall playing any "pedal Fs." If you're talking about the low note, it was a g, so get your facts straight before talking trash. Lastly, the only high school section I see is the one who came running on the net with more excuses than O.J. Simpson! Like I always say, get your weight up and come correct next time.

I would have to agree with the silver bullets. If there was nobody cuttin them off Bama State woulda got VSU. I've seen bama state my freshman year in 03 and my junior year in 05. 28 niggaz will cover up 12 anyday no matter how raw.

It sounds to me that a 25 member tuba section got BLOWN OUT by a section half their size and sum1 is tryin to make an excuse why it happened! I have seen both VSU and ASU tubas in person an Horsepower is the best! But ASU is the better band.

VSU's band director was the only one that wanted to base their honda off a tuba battle. It's not a tuba battle if you dont take turns. They are raw, but again, no one will played back after there band director said stop.
