Doesn't sound like the sub osc at all: Sounds like they tracked the filter's self oscillation. They probably just recorded it hot and left it that way. I do it all the time on my sh-101 to the same effect.

Mate the bass is actually recorded distorted and is no more powerful than any other recording using the Sub oscillator of an MC202 synth.

As much as I LOVE this tune, they either purposely fucked up the bass to make it sound like it was the club PA systems.

I can tell you this for a fact. If I stick the 12" on my 1200 deck and play it through my Focal Twin industry standard monitors the bass still sounds a bag of shite, even at low levels.
