first trumpet has the range but needs more control in the upper register. I am doing this play now as lead trumpet and i admit, it's difficult to control the high passages in this play.
I'm inclined to agree. While I haven't seen a real good rendition of this song on YouTube, there is one by WEDT (whatever that stands for) that actually doesn't suck.
this is the best conrad birdy i've seen on youtube...he really went for for it and shook his hips.he owned the stage and was awesome...and the girls too!
