if he was fasting for Spiritual reasons, as in christianity, then he would just walk into the woods for 30 days without telling anyone he was fasting. this guy is doing it for applause, so people will say" Amen brother" "good job!" and that doctor is wrong, it is not unhealthy to fast for long periods. i've seen many do it for 40 days, only drinking water. it cleanses your body, and gets rid of your addiction to fast foods and unhealthy foods, but america doesn't want that, so they say youlldie
@Terrybob123 He did this for his own reasons, we were lucky enough to film his journey. Our goal was to make sure that he was safe. We actually had to convince him to allow us to check up on him to make sure he was ok. The film is really an inspirational journey of a man discovering himself. See for yourself! Personally, I completely agree with you about the benefits of fasting.
Be interested to see the film - but this man is an idiot. What does that achieve? Go to Africa and help feed the starving - not starve yourself. What a half wit. Sorry - he is.
I don't know what it would achieve on a worldwide level, although he seems to be doing it for the personal experience. It's interesting to see the direction a person's spiritual journey can take, but I find it hard to judge any one path as half-witted or not. Maybe his experience will inspire him to go abroad and help starving people, who knows =)
