Hey your band is quite good for a college type band doing covers. However wrong song to speed up and rock up - it's got a great feel to it in its original which is the most it's got going because it's not a particularly strong U2 song. I used to do exactly the same when I was in bands but this is a bad 'take' on the song. You'd do much better playing it straight.

what the hell are you talking about? Interpretation is half the fun. And plus, this song is one of U2's best. It's all a matter of opinion, isn't it.

Don't act like an expert in things that are subjective. To me, they sound like they were giving an homage to Shonen Knive while playing a U2 song. Many things you could see in it.
