@sfturbo saying the US lost SBO is like saying someone is the best fighter in UFC but refusing to acknowledge fighters who use certain martial arts. you're forgetting that japan bans o.sagat. players in the US can beat him, players in japan typically cant. the japanese play REAL super turbo and lose to o.sagat consistently (which doesnt mean every damn time, btw). we play neutered super turbo and japan picks up the win. you cant judge who is better without making the rules the same every time.

@snoopolion no they cant. o.sagat isnt that dominant, he's just too fucking good. japanese players would know how to fight o.sagat like US players do if they knew how to lock people down with him. its an undisputed fact that if you know how to play AS a character it increases your knowledge in playing AGAINST that character, and the japanese lose to US o.sagats. on the other hand, US players are more successful against o.sagat when you look around youtube.

It seems like this would always be a tough match for Blanka. Vega's claw is totally gonna hit after a blocked Blanka Ball, so it can't be abused at all. I'm sure that's enough to offset any Blanka player who clings to its safety.

Not really. Sirlin actually picked Blanka as a counterpick to Tokido, to stop the wall dive. But Tokido knew the match up and stuck to the ground game
