Sorry couldn't watch the entire video on account of getting sick & pissed to think this hypocrite's so called bipartisan reforms that hurt so many public employees, yet has not yet renewed the Millionaire's tax? Oh, that's right, that would hurt himself. Keep blaming the Democrats, the blame game is getting old. How come your health care reform does goes easier on the upper class? Once again, the middle class takes the hit. Who's next? Education? God help us.
What part of "lost 70 billions of dollars or wealth" don't you understand. New Jersey isn't a country, its a state. You can't just keep raising taxes on people or they will move. When they move they don't pay taxes to the state anymore. Chris isn't your enemy, mathematics is.
This nasty gargantuan pile of dog crap is the Governor of jersey?!? Its totally shocking the foul, obnoxious comments that come spewing out if his giant piehole....give the buffoon a dozen quarter pounders and a box of crispie creams and send his ass packing!
@MANOKSA Under HELICOPTER HOG'S medicaid cuts, a family of 3 who earn more than $5.317 A YEAR,will NOT qualify for medicaid.Yet this HELICOPTER HOG,VETOED THE MILLIONAIRE TAX INCREASE approved by the NJ legislature last year.
HELICOPTER HOG &GOP POLICIES=FUCK THE MIDDLE CLASS & THE POOR
He's not perfect, I still blame the governor for the loss in the race to the top grant. He dropped the ball on that one. Yet, if and when NJ gets the unemployment rate dramatically down, he will easily be the best governor this state has had in a very long time.
Governor Christie’s budget action knocks the wind out of the NJEA union bosses and Democrats in Trenton that continue to complain about “Last Years” necessary Education Budget Cuts. Now that they have their budget money back what will they complain about now?
Rest assured Democrats and public union officials will find some way to spin the real life reality of NJ’s budgetary mess that they themselves caused.
Wish we could re-elect Chris Christie for a second term NOW!
I think this was a spot-on and brilliant little speech. Christie identified the issues, and reminded us that the enemy is still there, still potent and that we as citizens must stay on our guard against politicians who have their ears tuned to other folks besides those who elect them into office. This is a wake up call and much needed. The work's not done yet, and the vermin must be eradicated from the halls of government once and for all. Thank you governor.
This video saddens me. Because it has me realizing that even if Chris Christie successfully fixes NJ after 2 terms, a few years after he's gone things will probably go back to the way they used to be, unless his successor does the same things christie does.

If he announces a flat tax in order to get the unemployment lower (and if it possibly works), that would make him a impressive governor.

@Maserati7200 You'll never get another like him. It would be nice if he inspired a new generation of political methodology, but I just can't see it.

@niltomega I know what you mean but anyone like him in the presidential office will probably have fear for his life.

Thanks you for using the line-item veto to sign a responsible budget that stayed within our means and did not raise taxes!
