@007flyguy1 Hi, Thanks for the post. All our track and buildings are made to stay outside in all weathers. Most of our track has been outside for over four years now and it's fine in all weathers. Keep watching!
@CatleyWalkers Hi, Thanks for the post. The Bachmann large scale Thomas & Friends series are really well made 45mm locomotives and rolling stock. They are simply made and very tough. You can get Thomas and Percy sets that will work inside and outside. The track you get is very light but works fine inside. We use Peco G45 track outside which is much stronger. Thomas, Percy and James are driven by a simple electric motor with plastic /nylon gears. They are great fun. Hope this helps.
@brother1997 Hi, Thanks for this. It all comes down to what is 'in shot' and what is just outside of the camera frame. We do that a lot. One of the crew, just out of shot, pulled away a piece of wood holding up the pebbles. If we had zoomed out you would have seen it all! The camera never tells the whole story! Hope you keep on watching and it doesn't spoil your enjoyment.!
@mistyislandrailway Hi, Thanks for the post and your comment. So glad you like our videos. Pine Tree Junction has been closed for the winter but we are opening up again this week. We should have a new video up soon so hope you keep watching!
@UltramanCronos Hi, Thanks for the post. We are so glad you like our garden railway. We all have great fun running our Roundhouse live steam locomotives and our G scale Bachmann electric engines around our track and in and out of the bushes and tress. James should be arriving in the UK later in the spring so you will see him out and about soon. Hope you keep watching!
These little videos never fail to put a smile on my face. The lack of dialouge, the ambience of birds and other nature, the sounds of the trains running, and the choices of background music all combined create almost a soothing atmosphere.
Can't wait to see what shenanigans James will cause throughout Pine Tree Junction when you guys get him next year.
Fantastic videos. Well done, cheers, and keep up the good work. :3
@1234567890moomoo Hi, Thanks for your post. So glad you like our garden railway videos and that they make you smile. Pine Tree Junction is now closed for the winter but we shall be open again in the spring. We expect Bachmann’s new large scale James will arrive at Pine Tree Junction in late January or early February. We should have some new features along the railway by then so hope you keep watching!
Maybe for a movie idea when you get James, when Percy is shunting at the water mill at 1:02 , he accidentally crashes into the buffers and his load spills over the track! Then Thomas has to stop James before he crashes into the danger on the tracks.
@atomictrain513 Hi, Thanks for the post. What a great idea. We have the new Bachmann James the Red Engine on order and we hope he will arrive at Pine Tree Junction in the New Year. It will be good to have another character in the Thomas series chuffing around the railway so hoping you keep watching!
@TheTazzmo94 Hi, Thanks for the post. Percy did indeed nearly come off the rails but stopped just in time. Things always work out well on Pine Tree Junction. The PTJ team are slowing down now for the winter but we shall be back soon. Hope you keep looking out for us!
@Zorran202 Hi, Thanks for the post. We have a Bachmann large scale James on order, which should be here by the end of the year. The photos show he is very red, so I expect he will look great on Pine Tree Junction. Hope you keep watching!
@penninefilms Hi, Yes, our house and garden is nearly one hundred years old as it was built in 1912. We only started to build our garden railway about two years ago so everything is very new. There used to be a larger orchard some years ago, but we only have one apple tree left now. Hope you keep watching!
Sweet. You sure get some good weather. Thomas and Percy have just arrived at Stout Mountain. Building large indoor layout just for xmas. I hope many videos to follow. Keep up the imagination.....
@ATKFOH3 Hi there Stout Mountain, Thanks for the post. Great to hear that your club is getting a Bachmann Thomas and Percy. They have been a great success here on Pine Tree Junction and we see them at shows and exhibitions all the time. All the kids love them, whatever their age, and they are very good fun to run. The colours are great and look bright and cheerful in our garden. Look forward to seeing your Christmas layout and your fantastic holiday celebrations. Hope you keep watching!
@TheThomas64fan Hi, Thanks for the post. The large scale Bachmann 45mm Thomas and Friends series are really great fun and very good quality. We have been running ours all year now without any problem. As long as you keep the track clean and don’t throw them about, they will give you a lot of pleasure. We should have James the Red Engine soon so hope you keep watching!
@penninefilms Hi, Thanks for the post. Glad you like our videos. Although our garden railway has been down for less than two years, our main garden is nearly one hundred years old. The railway covers an area of about 10 meters by 30 meters with over 150 meters of 45mm of track. As most of the video shots are taken from about 10 centimetres off the ground, the overall perspective makes everything looks very big. Hope you keep watching!
Well I hope that maybe sometime these little stories turns into a series (Maybe) I will continue to watch your videos^^ Good luck with future work and looking forward to seeing more
Your layout in the garden is amazing^^ I can only dream to have something like this, but I'll stick to my oo^^. By the way dude these videos are awesome, I like the idea of storys to them, maybe you should make some ep with voices in it or something^^ that would be veryin interesting to watch^^
@Robtheredengine Hi, Thanks for your great comments. Glad you like our videos. They are like little short stories ‘without words’ so not sure we will be scripting any dialogue or recording any voices just yet. Anyway, hope you keep watching!
@crazyracer12 Hi, Thanks for the post. It’s all down to teamwork. Three of us meet on a Wednesday and decide what to film. We each come up with ideas and keep trying different things out. It took an hour to film the ballast giving way at 0.17 and then four hours to film the rest. It then took about three hours to make the music and finish the edit. It’s all great fun so we hope you keep watching!
@TheThomasman1992 Hi, Thanks for the post and glad you like our new video. James the Red Engine is on order and should be with us by the end of the year or early 2011. I expect his first film will be in the snow, which is when we first started making our little films earlier this year. Lots of things have changed in the garden since then, so it will be fun to make a new snow video with our latest engines and rolling stock. Hope you keep watching!
Amazing stuff! I love the storyline. And the weather always seems to be so beautiful when you film, quite jealous actually, your garden looks so beautiful in the sunlight. Great work, hope to see more! :)
@TheThomasWoodenGuy Hi, Thanks for your great comments. Glad you like the little storyline. As the Bachmann Thomas and Friends engines are track powered and radio controlled, there are not many things they can do so we have to make things very simple. We also try and film in the sunshine so you get nice shadows and increased ‘depth of field’ in the shots. As the year goes on and the sun gets lower in the sky, the shadows get longer so you get some really nice pictures. Hope you keep watching!
@bluefirexd12 Hi, Thanks for the post. All the engines and rolling stock are kept in a full size brick ‘engine shed’ that is fully secure and safe from all the weather. From time to time we do make a new building, so perhaps we will make a 1:20 scale engine shed for Thomas and Percy to fit in. Hope you keep watching!
@B12E2 Hi, Thanks for the post. Glad you like our new water mill. We are really pleased how it works and it certainly looks good by Sandy Bay. Thomas always seems to have to sort out the troubles on Pine Tree Junction. Hope you keep watching!
@carson08022000 Hi, Thanks for your comment. It’s great when folks like our videos. We have great fun making our little videos and look forward to reading your comments. Folks always say nice things, which is really encouraging. We shall definitely be making more soon so hope you keep watching!
@carson08022000 Hi, Thanks for the post. I am sure we shall have a video with Thomas or Percy coming off the rails one day. It happens all the time on Pine Tree Junction, it’s just that the camera isn’t usually running when it happens. Hope you keep watching!
@scarter003 Hi, Thanks for your comments. I use an Apple Mac and iMovie to edit the video and Apple’s Garage Band to create the music. The music is made up of lots of different loops so is made to fit the video. The loops are copyright free and made so that you can create original tracks for songs, background music and videos. Hope you keep watching and listening!
when i saw the title of this vid i honestly thought u did a remake of the actual story! now i dont know if i asked you this question already but even if i did ill ask it again =P
will you guys be getting bachmann large scale james?
@JD41796 Hi, Thanks for the post. We try not to follow the stories from the Thomas books or Thomas videos but some of the ideas will be the same. We have the new Bachmann James the Red Engine on order, which should be in England by the end of this year or early 2011. It will be great to have a third engine to film so hope you keep watching!
@trainlover658 Hi, Thanks for your comments. Glad you like our little ‘stories without words.’ We have viewers from many countries so we try and make our stories very simple and universal. Hope you keep watching!
@Zorran202 Hi, Thanks for your post. You must have logged on a few seconds after we started to upload the video, so it wasn’t fully loaded when you viewed. It takes about 40 minutes to upload a 2meg video so I am sure if you logon again, you will see our new video in full HD and glorious colour. Hope you enjoy it! Keep watching!
@Thomasfan8 Hi, Thanks for the post. Glad you like our latest video. It was nice and sunny again today so we were able to spend the day filming our latest Thomas video. Hope you keep watching!
So if it runs outside and it rains will it affect the track? How does the g scale able to run outside ?
