Genuine psychopaths are in the vast minority, but they tend to be in a much higher percentage where leadership is concerned. The Nato intervention in the Balkans was at a late stage after many thousands had already been tortured to death and butchered on all sides. If the Balkans were not strategically such an important part of the European continent I wonder if they would have intervened at all. They waited years until acting. And consider Darfur.

@belllina There is a limit to forgiveness. If someone was capable of doing this in the first place, there is no guarantee he would not do it again. It would be similar to me going around killing people, then if I feel sorry for it, welp everything's forgiven. It's a non-sequitur. Petty crimes like hitting someone, stealing, and such, are acts that can be forgiven because most people did not mean them.
Butchering children to drink their blood... that's beyond the insane.
