  • anyone know anything about the haka (spelling?)

  • 經典 聽不懂 哪一國話阿

  • All i can say is chikung and neikung ( which are the motors which power all the different kungfu forms) are 100% REAL and POWERFULL, I feel sorry for most of humanity who do not have access to this knowledge, because they will suffer for many years when they are old before they die and lead mediocre lives before that.I pray for all you unfortunate humans.

  • Venerable Shi Hai Deng (monk) is the only master from Shaolin Temple that have successfully achieved the "One Finger Zen" technique in this world before his passing.

  • @bigfatdick5000 There is another one who has mastered it at shaolin recently

  • I would *SHOOT* (just shoot them with a shot-gun) anybody who dares mention the word mma on this page...

  • ah, the greats.

  • Inspirational & moving, a valuable treasure of a video clip.

All were very real humble master/ teachers, hard if not impossible to find, in today's internal arts world of self promotion and so called masters.

    Many thanks for sharing.

  • The young guy did not have much respect for the abbot. You can tell their fight is too showy. It would've been better to show something not so flashy so we could see the real skill of this great master that was Hai Deng.

As for the other masters, it's a pleasure to watch them perform. It's amazing how similar the different Taiji styles are in essence. Even though they look different at first glance.

  • You won't see again another video with so many real masters in the same place, this is unique !

  • I love this video, they're all legends...does anyone know anything more about this demonstration, such as when, where it was etc? Cheers :)

  • The all sit completely upright.

  • Vietnamese or Thai?

  • The monk Hai Teng was incredible, and the last living master of the Shaolin sect who could really compare with the masters of Taoist sect like shown in this video.

  • at the very beginning its the famous shaolin monk, hai tank. the monk with no hear that sits next to the white bearded fellow with short hair and glasses. he is the only one that managed to pull of a one finger hand stand.. truly an inspiration. great!!

  • Great video!!! I like how they simply walk instead of assuming stances ;)

  • thai

  • Haha! You should only pray to whatever god you worship that you can do this when you are that age! My mother is younger than the woman with the glasses on (who by the way is deceased last year I believe, close to 90 some years old) and can barely walk, can no longer drive. Oh, and the "fight" at the end is not a fight, but a two man practice form. Start working now to prepare for the future friend!

  • Well the woman's father is very thin and short. But he has won the championship of the Wolrd Fighting Cup(孫祿堂曾獲得世界大力士格鬥大賽冠軍)

Although I don't really know how good the woman is, I know her father rocks!

He usually finishes his opponent in a few seconds.

  • the woman's father was sun lu tang,he wrote popular hsing i books in the 1910's.he is also the creator of sun style tai chi.he has been dead before any of us were born(i'm 40).you should not disrespect these masters.

  • amen.

  • Wow this is like all the great styles. except the fight at the end i think looks unexcitingly unreal, it just doesnt look like his student is actually fighting, same as with another clip i saw featuring him :s

  • It's not a fight, but a two man practice form.

  • its in thai

  • Master Roshi!

  • Yeah, OK, so what deos the average Western 80-something-year-old look like? Lying drooling in a nursing home having their @rse wiped. I'll take this stuff any day!

  • I´ll take this stuff any day also! Great for health and martial arts when taught in the right way by masters as great as these were. May they rest in peace.

  • @bcfsl that is precisely the point of what they are demonstrating

  • Comment removed

  • @bcfsl that's a pretty insensitive and ignorant remark. In China elderly people are respected.

  • Very interesting video in Vietnamese dialogue, almost all the historical kungfu masters in China were gathered here in one place.

  • The dubbed language is Cantonese. The original viedo is in Mandarin (Putonghua).

  • Eh... Definitely Not Cantonese

  • Master Hai Deng is a legend! (The last one in the vid.)His power is amazing. Check the one finger stand , you will see.

  • thunder they would murder you, ever watch dirty ho? best way i can explain the varieties o "terrain" and subtle ways. they wont fight you out right, they know their limitations. inner calm is good to. you try to grapple or even think about fighting theyll read it and like slick gouge your eyes or crush your larynx

  • I claim never to be beaten. Throw sand in the eyes, kick the nuts, punch the throat, and bite the nose. If

it does not work. Run for your life. Make sure you run

5 miles a day. This will help you out run your opponant. Then you can claim you never been beaten. (:

HEE HEEE HEEE HEE HEE!!!! Hey it works!

  • many ppl don noe how to really judge taichi. its judge by lookin at the fluidity and relaxation.without even fightin one can use chi to protect himself from injuring.behind this is a hard n tedious trainin. ppl don noe thats y claimin this is funny, if u hav the chance to experience it, u will feel that its a blessin to learn from such a great master like wu tu nan.chi has to be built up through time. the older they get the stroger they are.

  • Maybe it's tiu chiu or something.

  • It's crappy. I bet i can beat those guys in a fight. Old people pretend they know qi, and everyone else agree with them. Ahh, sad...

  • O my god, are serious?? I believe you are a complete ignorant If you don't know who they are or what they did please don't share it with us, because you make me feel sorry for you.

  • they would never fight with anyguy like you who want to beat them, so they could claim they were never beaten.

  • treu, not to mention that they are indeed very strong, my grand-master beat me up in strenght contest, eventho his weight is 56kg and he's 162cm tall,(me being 173 and 68 kg) could not push him with strenght.

eventho they look old, they can still perform high level skills, (remember the one finger zen user, man that mofo was old and he could do it without probs)

  • dats some of the weirdest cantonese Ive ever heard! I wanna beard like li ziming

its sickening at how effortless and alost "wrong" these make their various arts look,

  • thats not vietnamese....its not cantonese

  • who mentioned vietnamese? Its cantonese dubbed over mandarin, maybe dats why it sounds weird. the 2nd sentence mentions something about coming from shao lin si.

judging from the subtitles its hong kong Tv

  • you fool its laos! You dont know what their saying. Be truthful

  • korean maybe? I dont bloody know! it sounds tonal and the sentences start off sounding like cantonese, but then they go all funky n my head spins!

  • Thanks,

    I like these old masters.

Hope we will be relaxed too, when we're grown up.

    greets

    der Horst

  • very interesting, thanks for the clip!

  • All the great masters at one conference... fantastic!

  • Bloody legends!

  • wow..... What a look into the last generation. Thanks so much.

  • That's a great clip... thanks for upping it.

  • Astonishing! Thanks SO much for posting this rare clip!
