Bottom line, both of these guys - Vince Weiguang Li and Haiyang Zhu were not just of Chinese decent - they immigrated from China recently. The similarities in the stories are obvious.

Now that is actually a good question. Why did these two foreigners from China feel so desperate as to behead another human being? Was it a language barrier? A sense of adjustment disorder trying to cope with what may be a drastically different lifestyle?

Again, I don't know what the answer is. To write these cases of as chance happenings may actually do harm. I believe we should investigate the details of each case - emotional, financial, cultural, whatever is needed to stop more murders.
