Professor, you're saving my life!! I'm from Italy and I left college 5 years ago. This year I decided to go back to college and to finish my studies. I can't attend lessons @ my university because I'm @ work during the day but thanks to your online lessons life's now easier! Up with computer science!!! ;) Thank you Professor! Cheers!
Richard is great! Fantastic to have a professor who's obviously much sharper than he's letting on all in the name of humor and student engagement. Brilliant.

Ahh I remember Richard in my COMP 1A lectures at UNSW back in 99.. he seems just as great and engaging a lecturer 10 years later as he was when I attended class. I think its a great idea to have these lectures online as they were very instructional in turning programming ability into a profession!
dunno if UNSWelearning checks the comments here anymore but ... I just want to say thank you. This type of free learning online is changing, or is certainly GOING to change, the world.
I can't express my thanks enough. Is there a way to donate? Maybe that will help in some small way
The internet is fantastic. I am receiving a university-level education whilst I sit here in my underwear in my mom's basement, eating nachos and drinking coke. Life is good.
@UNSWelearning I'm curious why anyone would be even interested to a guy with only their underwear eating nachos. ...Ahh it's for nachos isn't it? haha Thanks for the upload. I love Richard Buckland!!
I was searching Data Structures Video and now I would understand it with an interesting way of lectures of Richard Buckland, Very Thanks to UNSW for sharing these videos,
Will these be posted to iTunesU - as with Comp1917... I think it was better as they could be downloaded, paused, rewinded and replayed... also i could watch on my iPhone.
They aren't tutorials but rather classes. UNSW is trying something new by putting their online classes up on YouTube for everyone to see, and just like last year they will be coming out one at a time until the series is through. Rest assured they come out fast enough to keep all but the future "Rockstar programmer" busy advancing their 1337 skillz. ^.^
You know, as a professional programmer, I never miss these lectures. Buckland is a pleasure to listen to and I always manage to eek out a bit of information or general wisdom which informs my trade.
Just what I needed! THE LORD MUST BE REAL! LOL Yesss! This course is finally here!!! lol (I don't believe in God. It's obvious in my videos, but I'm extremely happy!) I love you guys. Maybe I'll transfer over seas! lol
If at least one professor teaching like Richard in university's in a semester , i think there will be no drop outs...
