I own a pt 945 and i think its great good trigger pull actions and slide works perfect and is about the easiest pistol 2 clean i love and plan on buying another
taurus is the worst ever. i just bought a taurus 24/7 pro compact and on the first night of cleaning and taking it apart for inspection...every single function has failed...the slide doesnt go back into its fixed position, the trigger fires on safety, its a broken gun...and a broken company. they make cheap knock offs of the real guns made by real companies
Sorry you got a lemon, it happens with the best companies. I've bought 3 Taurus autoloaders, they've been GREAT. Better than my Colt Gov't Models. (Had 4 of them, they all jammed from time to time, but my Taurus's, NEVER) I'm sold on them.
I own the PT-140 millenium pro and the PT-145 pro model.The tauraus brands are excellent for conceal carry the PT-145 saved my life so i have no promblems with taraus firearms period.
I own Glocks and 1 Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro. I dont like 9mm but i couldnt pass the deal on this one. It had like 50 rounds threw it and i have put another 400 rounds in it, works great and on target. I would buy another one.

I bought a PT111 Millenium Pro a few years back and it has never jammed, even on the wet days when my friends Glock jammed. Thats why my next pistol was the 605 revolver and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Taurus. I hate to see a good brand tarnished by un-informed gossip.
tlimon32, man i put over probably 4 thousand rounds through my glock 23 in below zero weather and in over 100 degree weather never had a problem not one malfunction and i have shot it in the rain most reliable pistol i own and its 3 years old

I'm simply saying to the people who are interested in the reliability of a Taurus pistol, that on the day I was shooting with my buddy, his Glock jammed several times while my Taurus fired away. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Glock and probably would have if I had another $300 the day I bought my Taurus. Just saying my Taurus has impressed me and everyone who has shot it.

They are priced inexpensively because Taurus Designs, Manufactures, Forges, every componenent in their guns keeping quality high while keeping cost low.
just got a PT745. great gun. no problems yet. No failurs of any kind. I'm kind of old, so the "figure 8" sights are not to my liking, but other than that, I like the gun and where can you get a compact 45 for less than $400?

I own a number of firearms from Glock, CZ, Ruger, H&K,and Magnum Research and a Taurus.
I have never found a fault with the Taurus, if you dont know what your talking about i suggest you remain silent as you look pretty Fuckin stupid !

A Taurus will shoot your ass just as fast & reliable as any other gun, the exeption being my PT 24/7 pro, it'll shoot you a little faster.
