Just re-ran an old tape of NANCY on the Hal Lifson "Radio A Go-Go" show from Arpil 2000. NANCY said this song was actually the "B" side of "Cuff Links And A

Tie Clip" ....and THIS side got R&B airplay in Los Angeles.

OK, nevermind I found it and it's here on YouTube. It is "Like I Do", same as Maureen Evans song, but she opens by speaking, "Johnny boy, take it slow." That's where I remembered the boys name from. Wow haven't heard it in so long!

Does anyone have her 1961 song that uses Ponchielli's "Dance of the Hours" melody (as in Alan Sherman's "Camp Granada" and Maureen Evans' "Like I Do")? Heard it only once, not a hit record. Something about a boy or with a boy's name in the title??? Please help!!!

This was a nice "pre-BOOTS" song by NANCY ~ I think her songs should be released on a CD, I mean those songs that she did prior to 1966 that maybe didn't chart but deserve a CD Presentation. Does such a CD collection exist? I've only seen a Japanese Import CD but the sound Fidelity wasn't that great.....

The only collection of these songs I found was available on amazon I think, I forget the title, but it was available as a download only, I think there were two volumes. Still, would be nice since the actual vinyl copies of her pre-Boots stuff are pretty scarce.
