@WunderDoob - cetme is its own design. i believe all the ones you'll find are Century arms rebuilds. Hk no longer produces their G3 /91 . it is different from the cetme. parts don't readily interchange. if you want a hk91 clone you can get a PTR91 built off hk licensed portuguese machinery in the U.S.A.
@SNIPERSTEVE420 hahahahaha!!! your the idiot who cares so much you had to just set me straight!!! lol i knew it wasnt fake or airsoft so you are the idiot i post the same thing on most vidyas just to get assholes like you to come crying back to me with wah wah wah !! hahaha you fail airsoft!!!!
@HiCapacity I know. NJ has this stupid list where a lot of guns that LOOK like assault weapons are considered such. Luckily, my precious PS90 is untouched *huggles it*
NJ rules needs 3/3 things to be illegal
-Box magazine
-pistol grip
-bayonet log
If the gun has 3/3 of those things AND/OR is on the 'list', it cannot be bought. However, nothign ever has bayonet logs anymore, so it works to advantage in a way :3
@HiCapacity It's listed under my dad's name, man. Of course it's not mine directly; I can't get a license yet.
I'll try to get some shooting vids up. I know why you're skeptical; a lot of younger kids like to go around claiming this kinda stuff. I'll bring a cam to the range next timeI go if I can.
CETME is a good gun, a really good gun for the money. I had problems with the original steel mags (bad feed, get stuck in the gun). The 99 cent H&K German aluminum mags work great (and unbelievably cheap!). The locking rollers are the wrong size and have been causing some problems as of late (double-feeding, odd). Gonna take it apart and get some new rollers, get it workin' right!
All in all, how would you say the CETME stands up to an original? I have seen, and fired an H&K copy. I am not sure of the manufacturer but I was kinda disapointed in the general quality and accuracy of it. I really want a good copy because I want to go out and have fun with one without having to worry about scratching up and posibly damaging a very good example of an original G3. Thx !!
cosmetically there are not really any differences. They are almost 100% compatible with each other (mags, grips, stocks, etc) except the gas bolt system is different
You americans are very lucky. Because of our restrictive laws we couldn`t own a CETME so they were exported to other countries. Now we can own them painted in grey and chambered for .307, but many of us would like it original. VIVA ESPAÑA!!
the cetme is not H&K is spanish fabrication
H&K = G3

I have a dumb question, is CETME still producing this or has production gone completely to H&K now?

@KoronofHearts What license? This makes no sense to me.. What is a "license"?
HiCapacity 1 year ago
@HiCapacity In Jersey, you need a license to own guns...one for life for longarms+shotguns, and one individually for every pistol
