These people need to be reminded that they're on a public road, and that crossing the lines will indeed kill you. Seemed like a lot of them didn't know the road, or at least rode like they didnt know it. Then again, knowing how easy it is to get a small motorcycle license in Taiwan, and the amount of people who don't have a license to begin with...
Then again, I am of the firm opinion idiots exist everywhere, under any condition and any guidance. So to say this is limited to Taiwan, is a no no.
@LithCS You are correct that this behavior is not limited to Taiwan. However, my opinion is that Taiwan is one of the world leaders in terms of idiot drivers / riders as a percentage of the overall population.....XD
@instruct2008 I've seen the lemming effect many times on other riders thinking they can navigate a corner at the same speed, without proper recon, setup & technique......that includes other superbike riders who should have known better.
No apologies necessary...I get what you mean. That's why I advocate to advanced riders to mentor the less experienced riders about all aspects of riding. I fended for myself without much guidance/support from others. Cost me dearly once. Being there to pick up a riders bike is cool, but helping him learn to keep it rubber side down is better. No gaurantees...but evry lil bit helps. Hope that makes sense.
Been there done that. A couple times in the beginning and once on an unfamiliar road. Lucky enough to have gotten smarter and better at riding. Seen cars and trucks do this too. As a rider you have to be as cautious as possible. Be aware that you may be cool but the other guy may not.
@Shogun09R1 Excellent comment. Those of us who have survived thus far made the same mistakes early in our riding & driving careers. Well said (you have to plan for / anticipate all kinds of nonsense from oncoming traffic that is out of control.). If you don't, your chances of survival drop dramatically. (I'm a free flight pilot with more than a thousand hours of aerobatic experience, so I know about risk management. My apologies if I sound arrogant....)
@CyberEditing I posted this vid because so many riders die because they do this. If you don't agree, that's fine, but please read the accident reports before you comment. Three people died last Saturday @ 42 K & 31K exactly because of this reason.....
Seems that most of the people in the rear view cam are trying to keep pace with the busa whether they realise it or not. Same lines and same speed....that is until they run wide because they haven't set up properly or at all for their bikes.

@LeeStaggo We both know that, but I don't give advice unless asked. My videos show them more effectively what goes wrong instead.
