  • WHERE THE HELL IS THE GREEN BERET!!! >:O

  • Anti-not fighting to win. Anti-being targets for Muslims.

    Anti-fighting with no defined mission.

Who else thinks the SEAL's were set up and assassinated. Too many details are not right, something smells.

  • The song is fitting.

Rise Against is very anti-war, but extremely pro-warrior.

  • Great Video man

    "That Others May Live"

  • dude, good song choice..ill be leaving in october for bmt then to tacp school..hopefully i get my ranger tab and get to do some epic shit

  • "so that others my live"

  • @cplikat Wrong

  • @Nathanalism

    how is that wrong dipshit

  • @cplikat Its just "That others may live". Dipshit

  • @Nathanalism look it up dude, dont get nit picky fuck ass i work with several pjs you dont want this argument.

  • @cplikat I don't care who you work with. Doesn't mean you have the slogan correct. Look it up champ

  • @Nathanalism i dont have too, u should do u research "champ"

  • @cplikat For someone who works with PJ's you seem to be arguing like a little girl... Checkmate

  • @Nathanalism how am i arguing like a girl? im just tellin you to get ur facts straight guy.

  • @cplikat I don't know how you can still be arguing that "So That others may live" is still correct. Sorry if you're feelings are hurt but that is incorrect. It is simply "That others may live"

  • @Nathanalism omg. type in "so that others may live" on google and your gonna get the same EXACT results for "that others may live". the word "so" in front of the statement is the justification word used. "that others may live" would be incorrect grammer and makes no sense BUT they are the SAME THING. like i said before stop arguing semantics man. Go be a civilian. You seem to be better at that. Can we just come to the conclusion that the video is badass and so is the song and so are pjs.

  • @cplikat Yup. Everything Google says is correct, idiot. "That others may live" is just a short excerpt of the actual motto. Excerpts don't always have correct grammar just because of the fact that they aren't complete passages. If you say "So that others may live" you're adding a word that isn't and shouldn't be there. Maybe you should rely less on random shit you read on Google. Video and PJ's are badass. The song however is meh.

  • @cplikat The actual phrase from the creed states "These things we do, that others may live." The motto "So others may live" is from the Coast Guard rescue swimmers. The phrase "so that others may live" does not exist in the military rescue community, in fact, THAT is poor grammar.

  • sweet intro haha

  • ironic seeing that Rise Against is very anti US Military, particularly they hate recruiters / recruiting. The had promised a CBS radio station in Florida a concert and then bailed when they found out the stage they would be on was sponsored by the US Army recruiting command, not that any of their fans would qualify.

  • @CaptainIsaacDavis

If you've ever heard their song Survivor guilt it's about people largely not respecting military personnel, they are against the reasons behind the war and the military industrial complex. As numerous people have pointed out, they are against the war, not the troops.

I'm a fan of this band, I'm against the reasons behind the war, and with enough preparation, I may be able to do this; it's people like you that make me hesitant about joining the military after college.

  • Thanks for that.

  • Old men starting the war, young men dying in it.

  • Simply put i apreciate what your doing to show awareness for what we do out there. You dont come with ribbons every mission, thats not the point , you do it because it needs doing. If can give 2 things of advice to anyone who wants to do this,1 its 90% mental 10% physical you truly have to beleive you can do this to your core to make it throught the 2 years,2 dont do it for the glory do it for your self and others. Also stop saying you "support our troops" do something about it, anything you can.

  • These things I do, that others may live.

    Greetings from Sweden!

  • Whats the first song?

  • @FunnyFunTimes

I got it from a SOCOM game.

  • just jump to 1:35 people

  • @joaoluizsn

    Its to build drama.

  • Isn't it slightly ironic to have a Rise Against song as the song? Since Rise Against are all liberal and anti-war (thus songs like Hero of War).

  • @sockless67

It is. Those turds are hippies but the song fit many of the material I had.

  • @sockless67 There's nothing wrong with being anti-war, Or liberal for that matter. Neither of those mean a dislike of the members of the military.

  • @bigbigblue111 It is sort of implied that when one it anti-war that they are anti-military. I know what you mean about anti-war not being anti-military though, as someone once said "It's not the generals that declare war, it's the politicizes."

I think that no matter how anti-war someone it, they still have to respect the PJs, since their job is to save lives, not take them.

  • @sockless67

Just because they are anti-war doesn't mean that they don't support our troops. I am going into PJU and I don't WISH for war, but I realize that it is a reality in our world and time and I am willing to fight and save those that put themselves in front of bullets so that you can sit in front of your computer and have an opinion and not get shot in the head for speaking your mind.

  • @sockless67 Whether Rise Against ani-war or not the pj's mission is to save lives and i'm pretty sure Rise Against can respect that

  • @VagineND they support the troops they just dont like war

  • @sockless67 yes although that is true, the pararescue mission is not one of offense but for the sole purpose of saving your teammates' lives. Defend when necessary

  • @sockless67 "all because of you I believe in angels. Not the kind with wings. no not the kind with halos. the kind that bring you home when home..."

  • @sockless67 what is even more ironic, in my opinion, is the fact that Rise Against has been my favorite band for 3 years now and I am joining the Air Force this year for PJ! Rise Against is coming to Northern Lights in 10 days actually, I'll be there :)

  • "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

  • I hope to be a PJ once i get older. My cousin is a naviagator for the B-1 and he has a CCT buddy who I hope to talk to soon. I know hes not a PJ but they work together alot

  • The last verse of this song really matched up with the video and what PJs are about.

  • Once im in the air force i will make it my goal to become a pararescue man!

  • these guys are badass...i want to be one but im a girl lol

  • This is the most well made Pararescue video that I have ever seen... Very well made from the choice of music to the choice videos. Nice job...

  • @71Firecop

Thanks a lot Firecop! It was my first time making a tribute video so I'm glad it's actually good to many people.

  • @Jovan14606

What! your kidding me right? well "first times a charm"... nice job once again...

  • dude you did a nice job with the way you worded things in the beginning, my first impression fo you would be that you are sophisicated

  • @TheUsafpilot

    Thanks for those words Pilot!

  • @Jovan14606 im not a pilot... at least not yet im still in high school but im well on my to the air force academy, then flying f-22 raptors but for now im just a civil air patrol cadet who flies Cessnas

  • I've had the honor of meeting some of these men.. they are not human physically, and beyond human in the aspect that they will do anything to bring you home

  • how are there 3 dislikes?? i would love to meet those people.. "that others may live."

  • so others may live in my opinion those would be good words to die by but even better to live for

  • love the vid. real professional and well thought out.

  • @DeltaPayne1

    Thanks Delta!

  • this is my ideal job when i join the military. hopefully i will make it. i am going to be a freshman next year and i am doing JROTC. I have done wrestling for 3 years now and have been swiming since i was around a year old. i also am in advanced mathmatics language arts and science. maybe i will be a pj one day. (currently i am 13 years old)

  • @barneyistheshit99 Your not going to become an officer?

  • @barneyistheshit99 i highly doubt your in advanced language arts because you can't even spell Mathematics right

  • @FliesinMyDreds come on man thats not cool obviously i got in to it because i was good at testing. also this youtube dude i dont realy watch my spelling errors.

  • @barneyistheshit99 You say that now.

  • guys ovan is right. PJs do go on spec ops missions. they are SOCOM, they rarley actully will rescue SOCOM operatives. they work with them as a member of a team, and a medic.it depends if you are deployed to .ex 103rd rescue squardron, you will only go out if a plane or accident happens that needs assistence. if your in a tactics wing, there you will work with socom doing classified missions.

  • great tribute!!!! my brother is one of these guys and i am damn proud of him!!!

  • I'd never seen that motivational poster you have there at the beginning, but I'm pretty sure there's never been a SEAL team that's called PJs as "911"... speaking of which, you have a Mark V on there at 2:45, which would be operated by SWCCs, NOT pjs.

  • @seairland312 pretty sure jason cunnigham saved their asses..

  • the intro was awesome, thanks for this video!

  • @paymon5 : thanks alot man,i got to the point where i can run (believe it or not) 7 miles straight but at a slow pace haha and i just made a pullup bar as for weights ill lhave to buy but thanks for the advice!

  • Awesome, great music with it.. i made a PJ video also for my senior research its on my profile if u wanna check it out

  • The last verse of this song is probably what many pilots and anyone who has been rescued by these brave men. I'm going the officer route, and i hear it's even more difficult to get into rather then enlisting. None the less, I feel this is a job you are called to do. It's Inherent, you don't think you want to be a PJ; you realize this is what you are ment to do.

  • @gixxeryounggun I am currently pursuing the Combat Rescue Officer position (officer version of PJ). One of my friends is already selected as a CRO. You need to go through what is called Phase II selection, if you didn't already know, which is a week long and the last 2 days are harder than any standards kept in the Indoc course for pararescue.

  • @pdashby I'll def look into that. I have to master the underwater part lol it's pathetic, but i should be pretty good on everything else

  • @gixxeryounggun Hoo fuckin yah, brother

  • ya my bro is one he says it is the best thing that has ever happened to him

  • the pararescue is siick! im a junior in highschool and wanna become a pj any advice?? thanks

  • Comment removed

  • @urgarbagemoves Go to your local gymn and work on getting invincable cardio. Your legs and cardio need to be in extremely good shape. Eat healthy. Don't get to big on muscle because it'll weigh you down when swimming with gear. Also make sure to run 4 miles every other day of the week non-stop. Lift heavy weights but only 1 every 3 days.

  • these guys are my heroes. if i am down i will await their rescue

a good friend of mine has plans on joining this elite force. i hope he recieves that honor

  • I'm currently at Indoc right now, does anyone have any questions they would like to ask?

  • no questions but good luck with it! I worked with the PJs a lot in Afghanistan, awesome bunch of guys!

  • yeah you're in rasp now? i should be there in about 5 weeks im in airborne school for now and i would love for you to send me as much info as u can thanks man

  • yes i am very interested in the pj's how long is the entire training all together thanks.

    -j

  • it's under two years all together

  • 2 years

  • Well, I was a varsity wrestler in highschool and we ran a little over 5 miles a day around my local lake trails. It was tough but I know for a fact the PJ have extensive psychical training the pipeline is about 17 months give or take, I really would like to be one, but If I didnt make it threw it would devastate me. PJ run non stop And take A-LOT of studying and tests before they even get to jump out of the planes. Props and respect to the 4 out of 104 that make it through.

  • You have to be willing to risk it all to succeed in just the indoc lol wrestling practice?? dude Pjs run 3 miles in under 18 minutes by the end of indoc, swim 50 meters underwater in one breath do over 100 pushups in 2 mins over 120 situps in 2 mins and can swim close to 2.5 miles straight w/out a break by the end of pipeline. If you dont start training for this atleast a year or 2 in advance you probably wont make past the first 3 weeks

  • Where did you obtain this information?

  • In places you will never see talking shit on youtube haha

  • awesome vid

  • i leave for PJ in 7 months. I'm stoked.

  • k , lemme break it down. Pararescue men are trained in all aspects of special warfare, and train with SEALS, DERGUVA, and probably delta. (?) training is 2-3 years, every single day its in the pool.

  • By DERGUVA, do you mean DEVGRU? lol

  • yes, sorry lol

  • real good break down

  • @env1233 I once had a SEAL tell Me I was insane after seeing PJ training first hand

  • @xHaitizx

PJ school will make your wrestling practice look like cheer leading practice.

  • yea it is, 95% wash out rate. if you think you can do it, then sign up and find out. most people don't make it out of indoc training. which is pt 6 times a day, along with academics, and cadm training.

  • I wrestled too... i can assure you that wrestling practice doesnt prepare you for a 50 meter underwater swim.... these guys simply do not give up....

  • @xHaitizx I'd love to see you're wrestling "practice" come into play in SERE school. Come try Superman school! HOO-YAH fellow PJ's

  • @xHaitizx

After wrestling practice you take a shower, have a good meal and a good night's sleep. Don't you?

    Not comparable.

  • @33vortex

    Hahaha Good point.

  • @Jovan14606

Hey man, that intro music is a boss, where can I get it?

  • @xHaitizx

Well said...for a guy who likes to have another dude's sweaty nut sack in his face.

  • @xHaitizx Even though im 12 i know that the PJ's training is hell compared to ur wrestling it is truly not compairible...

  • @xHaitizx Try waking before 0400 to go swimming. where you just do flutterkicks while the angry instructor yells at you and splashes buckets of water over your face. But yes, in wrestling, you do endure the degradation of being seen by other men wearing an extremely homosexual leotard while grabbing their asses.

  • We are Pararescue Jumpers... not Rangers, though its been a number of years since I was an active member of that great and noble brotherhood....

good luck to each and everyone of you youngmen.... remember if you make the cut and get through training, Superman School... you will not be men you will be supermen.... but even we can fall, so be very careful

    God bless

  • I lol'd at that kids comment.

  • what did that kid say? lol he removed it

  • he said This is my point exactly, as you get older and wiser you will know more about them. If you knew as much as you thought you would know that they were SOCOM. I just can't wait until you actually join the military so that you will develop a tactful approach to those above you. You have no idea what is waiting on you., although, PJ's do NOT go on SOCOM ops.... They rescue socom ops...

  • "PJ's do NOT go on SOCOM ops.... They rescue socom ops" hahaha That kid is a noob.

  • They don't. They are not deployed until they are needed. In return are rescueing socom operations...

  • That's not always the case, that's why I laughed. Sometimes they do go with other special operatives, other times they help NASA recover their aircraft, or just regular civilian aircrew. They are not strictly SAR for SOCOM operatives.

  • Actually, yes they do go on these ops. Ever heard of the 24? or Js being attached to ST squads?

  • @RememberKarmaX they are socom... freaking tard

  • i hope to be a par rescue ranger someday i got wait year still before i can go but i hope to join it

  • in three months i get to take a shot at the pj course im fucken stoked

  • Good luck bro!

  • good luck man!

  • Good luck and God bless

  • @elorza007 Did you make it?

  • @elorza007 How'd you do?

  • 1:15 I absolutely LOVE that sign. I'm a 16 year old and I've been working my ass off for 2 years now and I still got another 2 years but i really wish to be one of these guys.

    "That Others May Live"

  • great video

  • well is gonna be one

  • my bro is one

  • Great video

  • 2:09 that was perfectly timed, good job :P

  • Thanks for noticing Eric, I'm a stickler when it comes to matching the video with the audio.

  • Man, I got goosebumps during the intro...I ship out to BMT April 21st!!

  • lol Glad you liked the intro. I'm trying to ship out for BMT ASAP! I have an appointment with a recruiter in three hours.

  • are you shippin out for pjs after basic like did you pass the past test yet

  • I have to delay PJ school because I don't even know how to swim, so I know I won't even pass the PAST. Once, I learn how to swim, I'll do the PAST.

  • well hey man if thats what you want to do go for it dont let the 90 % wash out rate scare you im not lol but if you do chose to go for it really start swiming not just ok but damn good the past test is just the minumum to get in at the end of indoc you will have to swim 4000 meters and its timed so just be prepared

  • Yeah, when it comes to statistics, they don't mean nothing to the individual. So I don't let it bother me, right now, I'm just trying to get a high enough score on my ASVAB so I can qualify for TAC-P. Are you an Airmen yet?

  • no not yet but i already past the past test and im just waiting to go to basic

  • i passed it in december, i sucked at swimming too but im in the pool alot now. i need to work on underwaters and treading for I leave.

  • Niice, congrats man! When do you leave for Lackland?

  • hey one of your cadre is on 3:40

Bring the dark lord cookies and pictures of hot women youve slept with he likes that
