haha I used that radio for 1 day and I think i notice some improvement then I updated to latest radio 2.22.28.25. Super fast and 15mb extra ram too

i have this RADIO VERSION 2.22.19.26i but my phone doesn't have the reboot so i just turned it off and return it back on holding the home button...but can't seem to find the alt f i even tried pressing it it doesn't work..please help!

@d1a2ne6 if your phone does not goes to reboot that means your device is bricked and there's nothing you can do about it unless you buy the new phone

ayyy i have a question. ive done most of the steps in the vid but when i try to reboot my phone i dont get that option, only to shut off. so i cant really get it into recovery mode. but as i booted up my phone i fould that i have full 3g bars most of the time. is that supposed to show that the enhanced reception is in effect? please help im noob to this phone.

@Ayyejaay lmao! a radio CANT drain your battery, its not possible. ALL it does is increase reception. it takes out your old radio and uses the new one and theyre the same size. and if it doesnt INCREASE reception, its impossible to lower it. so ya

in fact isnt all true, for example having a undervolting kernel can make you radio not working well and low signal. and make drain battery faster because the radio take all the juice that can and not only afect reception affect many other things like wifi even for example in n1 the new hack for hd recording

Everyone do NOT install an spl over this radio image, downgrade your radio first to 2_22_19_26I, install spl and then upgrade to radio 2_22_23_02 otherwise you risk bricking your phone.

All SPL tutorials (including AL's) say "ensure you have the latest radio image" and this is now the latest so be VERY careful not to install spl over 2_22_23_02 radio unless specifically instructed otherwise! (I learned this the hard way).

@mistahd33 What phone do you have? I'm having problems flashing the old radio on my 32B maigc. I don't think I'll try spl unless I can flash the correct radio.

@benbrady2 I had a G1/Dream, good idea mate, always make sure you have a radio which is compatible with your spl before flashing your spl ... and then upgrade radio to whatever you want.. otherwise you risk bricking, I cant stress this enough.

@loonyeye20 there's no such thing as a 1.6 hero rom...you can only apply a hero rom from like 2.0 or 2.1

Wow. . this radio is just amazing, before i had 1 bar of 3g constantly switching back to edge in my house, but now after flashing this radio, i now get 2-3 bars of 3G in my house NO MORE EDGE! =]
