Perhaps his son was the right person to lead the church after him as we know that the bible teaches it is wrong for a woman to preach and lead in church because she would be usurping the authority of man. God has decreed it this way and if believers refused to obey bible teaching, it would eventually lead to a situation like what the Crystal Cathedral church is now facing : bankruptcy.

Many years ago, I used to buy and read books written by Robert Schuller as well as his son, Robert Schuller Jr. I would say I was blessed to some extent by their books. But when I saw the father agreeing with Billy Graham on YT video that Jesus is not not necessarily the only way to heaven, I started to have doubts about his doctrines. It is shocking to know that a church which is so well known throughout the world is now facing bankruptcy, which is indeed a poor christian testimony.

It is so sad...the ministry of Chrystal Cathedral has changed so much, from what was humble and Godly beginnings when Schuller used to preach on the roof of a concession stand in a drive in to what it has become today. I have had a connection with the church, I've played the organ. I've spent time with Dr. Schuller...the man he has become is NOT a reflection of Jesus Christ, but a reflection of himself.

Robert Schuller loves what God hates and hates what God loves. He's an obvious apostate with a liberal, human, secular agenda. It was refreshing to actually hear of the "sex covenant" the church was asking its choir members to sign, stating they are not gay or living in sexual immorality. It caused quite a stir, but in this case the commotion was of the holy sort. I'd love to see a cleansing take place.

Like all these Televangelists, their "work" is to glorify themselves not God. God is the means to their ends - the excuse. Exactly like a motivational speaker. They make you feel good about yourself.. his "ministry" cant survive without him - because his "ministry" is HIMSELF.
