  • C.R. Rules the World in many aspects...

  • If you want to rent a private house in Costa Rica. Send me an email.

  • wauw! so cool! i'm costarrican wish i could speak spanish or go there!! pura vida costa rica!!!

  • Manuel Antonio is a great place to visit. I had an excellent guide that seemed to have a sixth sense at locating wildlife in the rain forest. The beach was gorgeous at sunset.

  • Este lugar es un paraiso!!!! Si en CR no tenemos grandes ciudades o modernos lugares para presumir! tenemos la belleza natural!!!!

  • i was there 2 days ago

  • aa yo vivo ahi que vivan los quepeños

  • Thank you for posting this! Manuel Antonio is one of my favorite places in Costa Rica. My husband and I stayed at a resort right by the beach and the park.

  • We rented a house in Manuel Antonio in 2008 and we loved every minute of it. The food, the people, the attitude of the people we met.

    P.S.: Don't feed the monkeys.

  • Manuel Antoni is awesome but its not the only place with great beaches. You can go to Playa Ballena and Playa Uvita further to the south. I just got back from CR. We roamed around in a 4x4 with an HD camera and gots tons of video. I can't wait to go back.

  • those pics are awesome!!!beautiful place

  • I went there some years back, it is full of gay hotels!! I think gays are the majority of the tourist there!! it was kind of surprising for me, may be gays value more the beautiness of nature...

  • Yes it was, early in the 80's. But now, some of this gay hotels are changing in family oriented and hi class hotels. I think that any person -gay or not- have the capacity to value the beautiful landscape and nature of Manuel Antonio.

  • For sure! I was just pointing out that Manuel Antonio is well known like a gay destiny but yes definetively everybody should go there and appreciate the place and the nature it is wonderful! :)

  • @TIC1986

I'm Costarican, you seem to be very ignorant, we respect people....You comments demonstrate that you are not an educated person...Manuel Antonio is still with lots of gay people...and what???? Are you a musulman???? jajajjaaj

  • Manuel Antonio es un lugar paradísiaco. Por algo y sin duda fue y seguira siendo el primer destino turístico de la bella Costa Rica.

  • I`m from costa rica and I never been in Manuel Antnio....=O I`m such an idiot i really have to go there"! is only 1 hour away from my house!!! jajajjaj -_______-!!!!

  • i've been right there...it was amazing check out my video

  • I visited Costa Rica in December and this was my favorite spot. Great rain forest and beach-and the sunset was spectacular. I also had an excellent guide who helped me find wildlife.

  • Paisajes chulos, gente majísima.....pero si hasta se come bien!!!.Es un PARAISO que tenemos que proteger. Me encantó y en cuanto pueda volveré.

    Pura vida amigos.

  • i stayed in CR for a year, it was one of the most memorable experiences i have ever had. it helped me see that this world is so much more than what you see. CR makes you feel whats in your heart, and helps you get closer 2 nature, helps u understand differences, and helps u grow 2b a better person. I love CR.

I like the song.....reminds me of bunjee jumpee there...good times, good times..

  • I nearly drowned at the Manuel Antonio beach and almost got bitten by a neotropical rattlesnake at the forest right behind it but still... it was extremely beautiful and i hope to see it again someday! :)

  • My cousin also nearly drowned at Manuel Antonio there are serious undercurrents in certain spots. The forest is stunning. My family is still there and I miss them..Que VIVA TICICIA!!

  • I miss home.

  • Ive been to manuel antonio its amazing!

  • hell yea, i was born is Costa Rica!

  • You are so lucky, I was made there but born here but my heart is so tied to it there. We are decendants of 10 TICO presidents but we are the blacksheep side so we are middle class tico/americans.

  • I waas there in November 2004 and my husband proposed to me on the beach of Manuel Antonio. Reason more to never forget that pleace!

  • Un bellisimo lugar sin duda alguna

  • I was in Costa Rica in 1990 and I visited Manuel Antonio. Everyone I met in CR was very friendly.

  • all the information you need about costa rica lafortunainfo datcom

  • I believe $8 is a reasonable enough price to actually PAY FOR IT INSTEAD OF LEAVING WITHOUT PAYING (gee, i hope u make more than $8/hour, u poor thing!), and I have no idea how u avoided paying taxes on food, since the tax is included in the price, hmmm. Now just think about this guy u ripped off at the hotel, I´m pretty sure he has to double the price at first, to make up for people that leave without paying.

  • Now, I agree with ur policy of dodging scams and rip-offs, I do it too, but NEVER avoid paying for OFFICIAL, STATE ISSUED fees and taxes, not only is this a crime... it is disrespectful to the Nation (MY NATION!). If u come to CR u need to play by the rules...

  • QUE VIVA COSTA RICA!!!!! And anyone who has bad comments about our country, specially if u r a yankee, shove 'em up ur...

  • im a yankee.....came to your country with the same respect i brought into nicaragua and panama...the difference is in panama they learned from your mistake and dont want the development in exchange for money that braely helps a select amountof people as is....and in nicaragua, they actually will let the transaction fall in to customers favor instead of making them ask for their change three times

  • acknumbers: I was made in CR and born here my family is still there so I go and visit. They do the same thing to me as far as overcharging is concerened. We are of European German/Spanish desent (sp??). Not all ticos are short and dark we are tall and anglo looking so sometimes that can be a bitch cause we looks GRINGO!!! Sorry you had a bad experience but don't take it to heart...VIVA COSTA RICA la suiza de Centro America...

  • yeah....i see it from your angle....it sounds like your stuck between a rock and a hard place....i went with the a good attitude understanding im a guest....but once the majority of people play you like a sucker you hve to let them know

  • i understand not wanting to be second class citizens in your own country...and trying to retain your way of living....but i came there for the first time and was treated decent so long as someone might get paid...after a few exchanges with ticos i really saw how they see things...you see any traveler as big dollar signs who arent entitled to their money...

  • so i spent my time fucking with you guys...

i never paid the fucked up 13% tax on a plate of pollo y oroz...i walked the beach into man uel antonio and saved my 7$..when a hotel owner who try to sell me a 17$ room and lie, telling me its unavailable and only after i walk away do they suddenly have a $8 dorm available..i stay...and then i leave without paying..

  • cabs from quepos to manuel antonia are 3-4 $? not for me..try a $1..or you can just sit there in your cab like an idiot making nothing... i love the kids who come up and demand cigarettes..i used to fuck with them on their manners and leave them hanging...then i saved a stale pack of marlboros i wiped my ass on as well....a few guys in manuel antonio were smoking those down

  • so in other words, be careful who you try to play as a sucker...it can come back to get you...respect recognizes respect...so fuck with the tourists all you want, but there is a small percent that aren't tourists but travelers just happening to stop in your country...learn to recognize them and give them their do's...

  • where is costa rica ..any one from them would like to make friend with me

    skype me : youtute

    your chinese tutor

  • for properties in costa rica brokerscr. c o m

  • Like every place in the World, not all shine is Gold, but sure is when you come to Costa Rica, you almost get a excellent impression about all

  • they open the park at 7:30 every morning so the rangers have time to go in the park and take the boa out from under his sleeping log and place it on a convenient tree near the foot path....same with the sloth you saw waiting for you outside the bathroom

  • Are you sure about that? Do you really think that? I spend hours in the park try to get a photo for my own work, and if you say so, I need to put in contact with the rangers to keep my work simple and easy.

Well, all have comments and this space is free. But don't forget... This park is like a "open zoo", so, don't waste time in visit another area if you want to be in contact with nature and take a sunbathing at the time.

  • This is not true. I have worked in the park for 5 months.

  • Hi,

Just a question, I am going to Costa Rica in June. I bought the tickets, but I still need to get a hotel. Can you please tell me where the best place to stay in Costa Rica is? I would like to see culture and nature of course. Thanks.

  • im going there in a month. whats not true?

  • festuseboigbe, what you mean?i live in Manuel Antonio since the last 13 years, what is not true about it??i go to the beach every weekend i know how Manuel Antonio looks like

  • ..they bring in the animals from the surrounding area for the tourists...while the animals are free to go where they want, they are brought into the area and their population is closely monitored...remember, this park is surrounded by water on 3 sides and an estuary on the fourth, serving as natural bariers to escape..

  • My Country have at least 25% of our territory dedicated to National Park and protected areas. Manuel Antonio is one of the oldest and most beautiful park. Ok, the space is limited but we try to preserve as good as we can.

  • the biggest hustle in costa rica....while the animals are from the "land", they left 30 years ago due to over development...

  • Been there many of times when I studied in Costa. Love it to death!! Cant wait to back someday. Pura Vida, Mae!

By the way, whats the title of the music used??? cant read what the creits say at the end.

    Any help??
