Holy Sh*t! Mountain Biking: Womble Trail Arkansas Gaston Mountain

I've been to the trail about 10 times. Other than other mountain bikers I've only seen a couple hunters and a crew cutting down trees for lumber. I guess the backpackers prefer the Ouachita trail.

Indeed they still do! Probably not as frequently as they did when it was part of the Ouachita Trail, but i know people who backpack it, still.

would you know the names or places of arkansas's mountain biking?is there a place you know of to rent a mtn. bike?...oh and if your big into mtn. biking, go to tennessee at racoon mtn.Hope you can help.

@randomoko Womble is my favorite place in Arkansas to ride, not too technical and very scenic.. I've also ridden several of the Syllamo trails in the north central part of the state. Its a little more technical and for the most part more demanding than Womble. I know some people that enjoy mt biking at Devils Den but I never ridden there. Don't know about bike rentals. Hope this helps you out.

Cool, a reason to go back to Arkansas, sometime in my lifetime... Been many times, but had no reason to be there, just driving through, usually.. Just realizing that theres mountain biking in way more than the place I live now...(BC)
