  • 20 ppl got this song as a message by their partners

  • Bob Dylan said he wasn't a poet...

Sorry sir Dylan, but I gotta disagree with you...

  • It's been ages since the last time I heard this song. It still gives me goosebumps.

  • Dylan is an absolute poet .

  • this song makes me sad :(

  • @lennonsdoll Well cheer up, because I just saved 50% on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

  • @TheSyrupMan Hahahahahahaha, cheered up here!

  • Great song. One of the most beautiful songs of all time!!!!! Dylan the best !!

  • @ARAntonioRoberto This is my favorite Dylan song. It's obvious that he's not talking about a relationship with a woman but it's political. Taken the time it was written and the metaphors he uses, he's showing where he and a whole lot of others stood on the war. Nothing new to people who know Dylan. The thing that makes it great for me is it's raw. Him and his guitar. Love it!!!

  • this will always hold up

  • its my favorite bob dylan song,

  • i would give my right leg to wake up 16 years old 1960...

  • @ChesterGodBennington I think the same thing every day...

  • @ChesterGodBennington im glad im not the only one, life would be so much better in the 60s, to turn on the ol transistor radio and hear live performances from jimi hendrix and the beatles, all the people who made music truly music lived then, including Bob Dylan praise the lord he is still with us today

  • when i first started listening to dylan, my dad told me he almost never sang other peoples songs. this was the main factor that let me look past his rugged vioce. although ive come to love his voice

  • Best song ever made

  • Turtles did it better.

  • u have to be one stupid fuker for not enjoying this song, done the RIGHT way, by the right artist. FUK U HATERS.BOBBY DYL IS THE BEST.

  • I'm not trying to start trouble at all, but I really dislike this original version, The song is great but I think Johnny Cash does it so much more

  • i hate it when people say he's a bad singer...i personally love his voice...

  • <3 Bob Motherfucking Dylan.

  • Grande canzone, grande ritornello

  • Getting serenaded by this song as a way of being dumped would probably be the most bittersweet and epic way of being dumped! Anyone agree?

  • Favourite album, 'Another side of Bob Dylan'.

  • oh, sweet rejection

  • reminds me of my ex

  • Whs is it so hard to find orginal Dylan on YT?

  • @SolidLittle Seriously! D:

  • @SolidLittle 'Sony' got it all removed

  • @SolidLittle all songs of bob dylan where deleted because of the copy right . now there back for some reason

  • i am 4 days dead and i'm listening to dylan.

  • Simply the greatest.

  • I'm a loser. I can't be relied upon. I am incapable of love, or at least of expressing it. Leave me alone.

  • i miss brian

  • love this early Dylan work.

  • I thought this was johnny cash's song. Guess not.

  • @DylanTh3Villian Most johnny Cash songs aren't.

  • @DylanTh3Villian

naah he only covered it....he covered a few Dylan songs actually

  • Revolution is now

  • @ThePotentC

    The Revolution IS now.

Its just happening behind the scenes

  • I cry

  • this is Dylan`s song but i like the fact that johnny cash take it and made a hit Two great legend with a nice friendship i like it (Y)

  • @madranboy45 Just like the Byrds did with Tambourine man eh? One of only three songs to make the Rolling stone top 500 songs twice by different artists.

  • wow

    really?

i bet if u asked them which was better they'd say the original :P

  • Dylan's songs are relatively easy to cover due to their simplicity and there are some good covers and interpretations of his songs out there, but none sound quite as profound as his originals.

  • @Nicomagic6 and yet listening to Bob Dylans songs are relaxing and nice

  • @Nicomagic6

i'd say his songs were multi-layered than simple, but i do think dylan made it look easy

  • I'm with you lpusnj - that version is probably the best I've ever heard.

  • I loved Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon cover in Johnny Cash biographical movie "Walk the Line"

  • Joan Baez version is a little too sweet, is a good version though.

  • i think i speak for everyone when i say... shut up and let us enjoy the music without crackpot theories. thanks.

  • @glaschris08 RIGHT ON DUDE LET THEM KNOW

  • @glaschris08 fuck i know right.

  • @glaschris08

    well said my friend

  • that being said this is such a great song and its frankly to perfect to be a breakup song

  • ..why is it bob has a song for every feeling, or thought..love this..

  • Is there one song from Dylan thats not great?

  • @Moniqueee15

haha unfortunately yes... but it doesn't matter he wrote hundreds upon hundreds of songs, he's not perfect.

he also wrote some of the best songs that were ever written and ever will be written so it's all good.

  • awesome

  • name one line of this song that has anything to do with war.

  • you must be kidding.

    It's called symbolism.

    It an allegory.

  • @golyg

Cant you just enjoy the song? You lefty loon

  • I'm a republican.

    I love Dylan.

    I love this song.

    My statement is true.

Heard it in a Dylan interview

  • what a beautiful poem you dumb greedy pile.

  • you must be confused. republicans are the 1% who have 90%. no lie. it's so exasperating! We are on the same side--we'll hang together or we'll hang seperatly.

  • class

  • bob dylan is amazing!!!

  • I like this version,but i prefer Joan Baez's version :) I have not heard Johnny Cash's version yet.

  • johnny cash's version aint all that . compared to dylan anyway

  • Cash's is not the orginal.

  • for some reason this song makes me cry.

  • i´m

  • this is the original version right?

    cash's just a cover

  • bob dylan owns this song.

  • he wrote it dumbass

  • i thought jhonny cash did..but thanx 4 the info

  • Absoulutley awesome, i also love New Found Glory's Cover, awesome for the modern Generation, Cash is also amazing!!....its just a fucking amazing song!!

  • this is good, but i prefer Johnny Cashs version.

  • Look its Dylan! Stop saying it terrible. Its the legendary Bob Dylan its fucking brilliant.

  • I think it's great, but you can't say that every artist you like is perfect and they never sing bad...Not that he does at all, but if he does, you can't be ignorant and just be liek NO ITS BOB DYLAN HE CANT SING BAD and like force yourself to like it...i hate when people do that. I don't know a band where i have liked ALL of their songs...maybe the Fray, but i haven't heard all of them so.

    regardless, I like this song.

  • @BoxingMadLad You have to admit, his voice is terrible. He's a great songwriter, and a bad singer, which is why covers of his songs are more popular.

  • @Picheta32192 nah bro. nobody has to "admit" anything. some people happen to like his voice. if you think its terrible, go listen to the fucking covers then. nobody is forcing you to listen to something so "terrible." the legends usually have alot of haters.

  • @girlsatimebombxx Faggot, I gave him credit for being an amazing musician. Dylan's my favorite musician ever. He just can't sing worth shit, and if you don't realize that, then you're a dumb nigger.

  • @Picheta32192 boy! where you live?

  • @Picheta32192 I love his voice ...

  • @Picheta32192 It's fair to say that, in a classical sense, Dylan's voice is "bad" - but I'd avoid calling him a 'bad singer', as I don't think that's really accurate. Being a 'singer' isn't a matter of hitting a series of notes in a pleasant manner; it's about what your performance adds to the music. And Dylan's voice - however "bad" it may be - adds something to each of his songs, that would be clearly missing without it.

So, I'll submit: bad voice, but incredible singer...

  • @redkutai Classical Shmassical. The voice is in the ear of the listener--and "bad" does not work for me AT ALL! Quite the opposite. All the vocal theatrics in the world will not insure the kind of variation, uniqueness, and soul that emit from the MANY Dylan voices.

  • @lustre5

    Absolutely agree.

  • BOBBY D!

  • I like Dylan but this is terrible.

  • bob dylan is what our souls would sing

  • awesome way of putting it

  • I love this song..its as honest as you can get,,,sometimes u really want to be the person the other is lookin gfor but u realize you its not you,,,someone wants to look up to u and love u but your as human as everyone else your not always gonna be there or be strong,,,

  • im in this situation right now, its shit

  • johnny depp quotes from this song in "Blow" ?

  • WHAT part

  • Ye : )

  • Hehe best break up song? hehe

  • If you weren't there, you know nothing about what it was all about............

  • Perhaps the MORE MATURE love song ever written

  • awsome quality , thanks

  • shut up bitch..

  • your a idiot! Dumb AZZ !

  • No dumbass, the cash version is a cover

  • yes it is!

  • 1:30 is the best part. It sounds like Bob is breaking down and almost crying. Really captures the essence of this magical song.

  • First of all, rastafarians aren't jews. they are their own religion entirely. secondly, how dare you people fill Dylan's comments with hate

  • Such a beautiful song :)

  • Just listen to the music and take from it what you need. I think that is what bob intended

  • Dylan is singing to the folk, hippie, peace movement. That he isn't the Messiah they think he is.

  • I love this song... masterpiece...

  • u know wut ur probibly right.. cloudchaser07 haha i love how bob says on dont think twice I aint sayin you treated me unkind

You could have done better but I dont mind

You just kinda wasted my precious time

But dont think twice, its all right

anyways i still think it aint me does a better job.. haha

  • I love this song of dylan huge.. fan only 19 but i grew up listening to him so im a big fan. haha its funny how dylan can practically mind fuck people with their music and confuse them... like how he used like a rollingstone soo strong.. anyways ive once dedicated this song to someone bad haha yes i know but i had it pretty bad in the end these lyrics practically destroyed her to a breakdown.. his shits more powerfull then i expected *whoops*

  • You should have send her: Dont think twice its alright

  • Who gives a fuck what religion Bob is!!?? He's just Bob!! Enjoy it!

  • What is up with all the hate? Who cares what they are? Some of you need serious intervention.

  • whats this talk about lords, jesus and jews, i think we are all titled to our opinions, which cant be wrong cus its an opinion, but jus shut the hell up and listen to the music

  • This is a true story. It's about a girl who broke his heart. I read his book and he tells how he came up with this song. Love it.

  • hahah sweet xP

  • Wasn't that in Virginia? I was there too.

  • not the one i went to.

  • muito bala!!!!

    é o cara , bob fala tudo.

  • Bob

  • the people on here talking about jesus and jews in a negative way need to get their heads checked or shut the fuck up.

  • Rock on Bobby D.

  • Why would you even bring up the fact hes jewish? Still better than you...

  • who gives a shit about who is jewish hebrew muslim or a fuckin cult worshipin hamster lovin vegetarian?!!! its not important. awesome song simple as that.

  • :) indeed

  • Who the fuck cares what rase or nationality are/were great musicians like bob....MUSIC is the the thing you have to know, listen and understand....then you realise that everything else is irrevelant...

  • What's a SAVOUR

  • One of his best songs his lyrics are amazing

  • That's too bad about your savour.

  • Damn right glasses92,who gives a fuck........what a sadly beautiful tune.

  • rastas aint jews....

    they didnt kill my savour.

    peace.

  • your comment is full of hate and stupidity and still you finish it with peace.

  • No one killed your ( savour ) Jesus pbuh never been killed nor any one earth was able to kill him. Jews never killed him. and Rastafarian are Israelites = jews .

  • jews didn't killed your saviour. your saviour was jew, the last time i checked at least it was, and if you believe the they weren't men that killed your saviour,it's all the shit we say and do :)

  • what did i walk into good music or religious class who the bleep cares what religion they r from ding dongs

  • right on

  • hahaha its dylan feeling sorry for himself love it

  • humility

  • i didnt! i responded something someone said and i couldnt know everything bloody bush said because i dont live in usa do i???? so stop putting thumbs because i agree with imunna?

  • gmurderdawg, are you Mel Gibson in disguise?

  • the 2 Jews Bob Dylan and Bob Marley are the best 2 Bobs ever in the world of music..the only 2 lads can write and compose great music , Viva Mr Dylan and may God bless Mr Marley's soul.

  • ????Bob Marley is a rastafarian. He's not Jewish

  • Sorry! Bob Marley is a Jew to the core, i am sure you know that Rastafarianism is sect of Judaism, as well as Marleys Jesus Haile Selassie is a Jew also, they are Israelites.

  • treu

  • whats true? that Bob Marley is a Jew " Israelite"?any way many people don't know nor they can understand that Bob Marley was a Jew.

  • who gives a shit

  • I think our government let it happen so they could enter a war in the middle east

  • Personally I don't want to blame a whole religion for the actions of a few extremists. WHOEVER did it.

  • well i dont have an opinion to 9 /11. Actually i dont know enough about it to have an opinion. But what i wanted to say is the same wath IMunnaEatChooo said and i think its kinda racist to say that the JEWS are responisble for 9/11.

  • "gmurderawg" do you have any problem?

first of all jews are also human beings and bob dylan is just brilliant. never heard someone like him

  • have you ever heard some one adore his music? it's me! lol i don't care Dylan is a jew or whatever, religion is private and personal issue but great music ain;t private, every one can feel it, if there is no Bob Dylan there would be no great lyrics and music, you're so right Dylan is brilliant. and the other Jew Bob Marley is too damn great. sallam

  • it was not the jews who were behind 9/11. it was the Arab mulim lads, thats the truth Bush and his thugs are big lairs but they didnt lie about who did 9/11. so please forget the myth of the jew were behind it. sallam
